Dr. Susan Lee Marcelli, MD

I have been going to this practice for 9 months. I saw dr. Marcelli for the very first time. As a first time mom I have many qualms, and evidently know very little about what to expect as I approach my due date. She had 0 compassion for my concerns and was extremely rude. Made me feel idiotic for feeling concerned to begin with. Completely disheartening. I’m supposed to trust these caregivers with my health and I now have to fear or feel ashamed when I want to discuss the concerns I have. Extremely disappointed and fearful that she will be on call when I need to deliver.

I really liked Dr. Marcelli the first time I had her for my 1st trimester ultrasound. After questioning the need for certain tests she became very abrasive and insensitive. She didnt take the time to explain why I needed them but instead told me that 'my baby & I would be treated differently at the hospital' and I had no choice but to do them. Extremely unprofessional & I will not be treated by her any longer.

I have seen a lot of doctors in my time, this doctor was recommended by a friend. I have been seeing her now for about 8 years. She has always been very attentive to me. Has answered all of my questions, takes the time to answer and explain everything to me. Has offered many solutions. I have since recommended her to other friends.
