Dr. Susan Jane Moore, MD

I no longer reside in Erie County and I moved to Crawford County. My child had an appointment two days ago and we were late 8 to 9 minutes due to taking the wrong exit when we did make it and checked in we were told that there needed to be a rescheduled appointment due to being late. Like what happened to the grace period at these medical doctors office. I ended up finding a new primary care provider for both my daughter and myself. If the doctors office can’t be understanding and flexible when things happen then you don’t deserve to have neither one of us as a patient just do better.

Dr. Moore is to healthcare what bugs are to a picnic. She refused to see our daughter because she has a strict 7 minute rule. After talking with the front desk, getting signed and calling back to Dr. Moore my wife was 8 minutes late and unable to be seen. They said Sue had to eat lunch soon - makes sense. Take some time to watch her video on YouTube discussing how the children are put first and our most valuable resource. Time to practice what you preach Susan. Hope you had some nice cold cuts - take it from a non healthcare professional…skip em.

If a child doesn’t want to undress don’t force them too. The purpose of a gown is to keep the patient covered and make them more comfortable. She complete moves it to the side making it pointless. If the kid puts their hands on their stomach she’ll grab them, and push them down to the bed so they’re out of her way. Very few appointments where she doesn’t make you complete undress. Myself and others I know who see her agree there’s something about her that makes you uncomfortable. She is right you’re wrong. She has no patience and is pushy with parents.

She isn't the friendliest of doctors and doesn't make you feel special, but she will spend time talking and explaining things, she is a very good Doctor.. The lady at the front desk is a little harsh and NEVER smiles when she greets you, Never, almost makes you feel like you shouldn't be there, but everyone else is wonderful.. Especially a nurse named Allison, they just don't get any better than her!!

I really enjoy taking my boys to this office. They have always been very helpful, and courteous. Dr. Moore takes her time, and answers all of my questions. I do have to hold the boys for shots, but that is for their safety. At 18 months, they still don't understand shots, except that it hurts. Plus she never gives the shots. It's a nurse. I had previously taken them to a doctor, and I could never get in, and the doctor did not care about my children. The nursing staff at that place was great as well.

i do not recommend her at all. she is rude if u dont hold your child down when she ask. she wanted to give my 4 month old daughter a catheter just to check her urine. she was rude to me on the phone because i didnt like a decesion she made so i didnt go with it. its my daughter and i will choose whats best for her, she told me i was i a bad parent. u wait forever when u go in for your appointment, she is always in a hurry when u try to sit down and talk with her. she just acts as if your child is not important. do not go there. and couple ladies that work at the front desk are rude and treat you with no respect depending on what insurance you have.

Unfortunately for Dr. Moore it seems as if she has lost her zeal for the practice of medicine and practices by rote and refuses to deviate from her set path. Dr. Moore did not take the time to interact without my 18-month old son prior to her examination and did not explain to him what she was doing e.g., I am looking in your ears now, or open wide I need to check your teeth. Additionally, she instructed me to wrap my arms around my son to "hold him still" for the exam. When I wouldn't do so, she became upset. My son sat very still for the exam and she was surprised and said his behavior wasn't "normal". I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, but hope that she reconnects to what made her be a peditrician in the first place.
