She single-handledly 'suppoted' my spouse after he had left me, without bothering hearing my side. Except for one time, and she didn't listen to me at all. I was left shaking and crying, realizing what I was up against. It literally wreaked havoc on my family. Eventually, my husband finally agreed to see a marriage counsellor, and things got better. Strongly advise a therapist not to give any type of advice on an issue unless you have gathered information, as a professional should. If a patient wants to see someone who 'supports' you and your ' growth spiritually', then knock yourself out. To use common sense and gather facts before making an assessment of the situatio, this " therapist" was awful. And she denied it with the psychobabble of " I'm sorry you felt that way". Horrendous.
