Dr. Susan Jane Probst, MD

I just received the result of my bone density scan and though the result - in and of itself - was quite disappointing, the feedback and guidance of Dr. Probst was so wonderful, so positive, so encouraging. I now have a multi-step plan - backed by clinical study results- to manage and improve my declining bone density health. Since my mother (now 93) experienced a devastating and limiting fall a few years ago - and her health limitations post-fall were evidently exacerbated by her osteoporosis - I am doubly motivated to follow Dr. Probst’s guidance to ideally reverse somewhat my loss of bone density. I have, subsequent to my consultation, made a concerted effort to verify every claim Dr. Probst made during our consultation. So far, I have been able to find published studies in reputable medical journals that support Dr. Probst’s medical guidance - and reasons for Hope. I am very inspired to meet with Dr. Probst again and - in the interim - to heed her guidance. A quick… additional note: In a small number of patient reviews (on a different media platform) I have noticed that a few patients have expressed concerns about Dr. Probst’s attention or bedside manner. I would like to respond to those comments: 1.) I do understand from a certain perspective how this might be perceived. Dr. Probst, in my opinion, ‘doesn’t mess around.’ She is so knowledgeable and so informed that I can understand how her voluminous medical expertise might challenge her as to how best to convey this - within the constraints of ‘in-network’ insurance coverage - as efficiently as possible. I would say to the uninitiated: Please don’t shortchange yourself of the opportunity to work with Dr. Probst by misconstruing her ‘let’s get to the point as quickly as possible to help you get to optimum health as quickly as possible’ approach as inconsideration. In my view, it’s not. It’s the exact opposite. It’s maximal consideration in the most time-conscious fashion. I can’t wait for my follow-up appointment. And I would be happy to add a follow-up review at that time.

I couldn't be happier with the care I am receiving by Dr. Probst. Each appointment she takes time to understand my concerns, and provides solutions that we both are in agreement with. She is an expert with hormonal balance, far exceeded my expectations. Yes the office is a bit outdated, however her staff is friendly and very professional. Highly recommend for menopause hormonal management.

I have read these negative reviews about Dr Probst and I am frankly shocked by them! I have been a patient of hers for about 35 years and I have always had the most excellent care. Dr Probst is warm, friendly and takes the time to give complete instructions and an explanation if you’re experiencing a problem. I have never felt rushed with her. In my opinion she is a wonderful doctor. I have always had many health problems and always felt that I was getting the best possible care from her. I would not ever hesitate to recommend her to any family or friend.

I don’t know how she still has a practice open one of the worse doctors ever!! This place should be shut down!! One of my biggest regrets in life was choosing this doctor during my pregnancy. Make a long story short my experience was sometime ago but it is one that I will never forget. I still have so many unanswered questions so many years later. The staff sucks and so do the doctors do yourself a favor and find a doctor that is attentive to your needs during this vulnerable and fragile time. One of the biggest decisions you will make is what doctor you will choose through the whole nine months. Choose wisely, I wish I did. I don’t want a woman going through what I went through years ago.

I have tried my best to work with this office for almost 2 years. Every single solitary time there is a mess up. Appointments made, then you get there and you have no appointment, labs drawn, no follow up, prescriptions ordered and paid for in advance, go to pick up and not record of payment, pulling credit card statements to prove I paid for the prescriptions, because oh yeah, they do not give receipts for payments received, pharmacy requesting refills, 3 times, no response. Call the office, no return calls. Dr. Probst does try, and she as a Dr is ok. I don't know if they need a really great office manager, I don't know what the deal is but I am 52 years old. I have had cancer, 2 kids, numerous surgeries and I have never in all my years ran into an office as inept and incompetent as this one. If you would like to keep your blood pressure down, do not go to this office.

I've been seeing Susie since 1984. We were pregnant together. She has always been responsive to me and called me when my mother died. I understand her perfectionism can be seen as short fused with staff. She has energy that takes up the room. I wouldn't see anyone else ( except Caroline who is retired). I don't need fuzzy, I need to know I'll be okay.

While I do like Dr Probst and she has helped me a lot, I'm beginning to rethink if the rare time I spend with Dr Probst is worth the hassell, ordeal and ineptness of dealing with the office staff. Payments for prescriptions lost, having to go pull credit card statements to prove they were paid for because the office staff will not give you a receipt, having to wait a week to get a return call pertaining to lab work and the results after you have waited for a call to let you know the results anyway. If you need a prescription filled between visits, $5 fee, you can't call the pharmacy direct and request a refill, but the office won't call you back so you can order in the first place. I have truly never seen such a messed up office. I paid my bill......mail returned. What? Really? Seriously, beware.

I am just blown away how doctors do not even try the natural remedies to heal, they are quick to perscribe medication; with out giving proper health clients to patients. I also felt rushed, and uncomfortable. I gave things a second chance after bad service by staff. I will not return again, I've had it.

Dr. Susan Probst is a wonderful doctor who knows her stuff but is very unprofessional with her staff. She constantly is putting them down and yelling at them. She is very disrespectful to them and does not pay well at all. The office is like a revolving door. Every time I come in there is a different person at the front desk. I have heard her yell at her employees on several occasions which is unprofessional.

Not at all professional. Find another doctor. This office has multiple issues.
