Dr. Susan Ellen Pursell, MD

Dr Pursell performed a bladder mesh surgery on me 13 years ago. Have never been the same. On a re- visit with her due to unbearable pain , she told me she placed the mesh incorrectly...... telling me I needed to have it removed and redone! Then she left the exam room! Horrible experience with her! Needless to say I never saw her again!

Dr. Pursell is very kind and understanding. She took time out of her busy schedule to speak to me about an important medical question. The wonderful part was that I was not a patient under her care at the time of the question. This shows that she has really good character and is willing to help when she can. She puts humanity back into medicine and I am thankful and grateful for her time.

When I first meet Dr. Pursell was after I left the hospital from suffer another URI. She examed me and said WE have to do something to fix this. She advised me about a procedure called TURP and gave me information about this procedure/operation which I agreed I would like to have done. She monitored me before & after for years after and no recurring URI. She monitored my Psa twice a year, and biopsy of my prostate every 3 yrs. I had another URI several years later while living in another state, test showed I now had Prostate Cancer, my prostate was removed and the surgeon told me I was cancer free. So I thank Dr. Pursell for doing all the tests and monitoring me so that the cancer was caught early and removed, so that I am living a cancer free live.
