Dr. Susan Elizabeth Ring, MD

My Husband became a patient of Dr. Ring’s in 2020. He saw Dr. Ring several times within 8 months. He had a history of prior heart issues and open heart surgery due to a congenital heart defect. On May 28,2021 my husband collapsed while exercising, and died. The sheriff’s department spoke with Dr. Ring to verify his medical history before he could be released by the medical examiners office. The following day on May 29, 2021 I had a conversation with Dr. Ring in an attempt to understand, in her professional medical opinion what may have caused my husband’s death. I explained what happened to John. Her response was “been there, done that, worn the t-shirt”. Then she continued to repeat several times “there is nothing I can say to make you feel better”. This is an extremely hateful person with zero empathy.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ring's for well over 20 years. I was so happy when she changed her practice to "concierge" as I know her to be extremely thorough. Sometimes I waited 2hrs to see her before this change which is never easy, but I was secure in the knowledge that once it was my turn to be in front of her, I would have her undivided attention. Now there are no more long waits and the visits are longer. She is compassionate and caring yet tells it like it is. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a physician.

I have been going to her for a few years now. Lately I have been very disappointed in my treatment. I don’t think she read my past history , even though all the files had been transferred over. I started having some problems that I had previously had and she didn’t know anything about it. So she hadn’t been monitoring it, these could be serious and/or fatal. I’m beginning to question her Medical knowledge, basic things she might be okay with but as you get older and have more issues , I don’t she is as on top of it as she should be. I pay the extra money , and it’s not cheap, so I expected her to be on top of my illnesses and treatment. She is likable but I worry about my future care with her.

First started going to her and she was wonderful. Everyone was kind and helpful at the office. But slowly started seeing some things get dropped or forgotten. Reason I decided to go this route was because I am older and needed someone to stay on top of my health issues. But I am having a hard time getting through to the office, phone is busy or it says to call back later. I am not sure what is happening but I have to think of my health first.

Dr Ring really listens to her patients and is on top of the best treatments.

I was a patient of Dr. Ring and so were other friends of mine. She is curt, a smart alec, dismissive to women . She was nice to my husband ,but, she was uncaring and hateful to me. I was hospitalized by her and she very coldly told me I could lose a limb or my life! I recovered ,but, she never bothered to tell me I was Diabetic . I went a long time not knowing that. I was friends with 5 of her other patients who made the same comments about her attitude. She has no bedside manner at all !!!!! I would not recommend her to anyone .

She might be a great doctor but only a selected few can afford her. This is really not fair since good doctor care should be available to everyone but not so with this practice. Her office manager laughed when I asked if there was any other way I could see her without paying the almost $2000. yearly fee (on top of what she charges my insurance).

We have always been able to obtain an appointment when needed. Dr. Ring is kind, gentle and accurate in the extreme!She is also the ONLY physician I've ever known that will apologize if you must wait longer than 10 minutes. Her staff is efficient and patient.I am a retired nurse and I've worked with hundreds of doctors. I have been her patient since 2002. I feel exceedingly fortunate to be her patient.

Dr. Susan Ring: Unless you want a life drugged up, stay away from this doctor.
