Awesome surgeon I am so grateful that Dr Cortesi was recommended by both a friend and my Internist. She did an amazing job and has the best bedside manner of any MD I've experienced. She is skilled, intelligent, informative, observant, and compassionate.

I had a double mastectomy Feb. 21 st 2019. Dr. Cortesi is the most kind, caring and knowledgeable Dr. She explains everything as it is no beating around the bush. I first visited Dr Cortesi in Jan of 2018. Because of her diligence, things moved quickly and I had a biopsy within 10 days. Over the summer, the breast tissue changed, and she followed up with the final conclusion being surgery. Dr Cortesi and her assistant, Melissa were very patient, kind and thorough. When surgery was scheduled, her scheduler Jessica was extremely helpful, and her followup was great. These women never rushed my husband and I. They answered our questions and were extremely empathetic to our concerns, and alleviated our anxiety. They made a bad situation tolerable and they made us feel like we were the only patients in their care. Now we are in a follow up stage with possible treatments. I am feeling very confident that I will get the best and that the outcome will be positive. Thank you.

Dr. Cortesi recently removed a rather large lipoma from my back. I’m a person who avoids having medical procedures unless they’re absolutely necessary, and Dr Cortesi understood my concerns. Her calm, easy manner of describing the procedure made the decision much easier for me. The procedure was done quickly and without drama, and 6 weeks post-surgery it has healed so well that it appears there will be very little, if any scar. I highly recommend Dr Cortesi, and would go to her again.

My first visit with this doctor and she was fabulous!!! She had a great bedside manner. She explained everything she was doing throughout the exam. She was VERY compassionate and understanding about what I had been experiencing. She was careful not to cause pain during her exam. She explained all my choices clearly and did NOT push me into surgery. Gave me the choice to wait-and-see or move forward....no pressure. Very personable! I adored her.

Dr. Cortesi treated me and my husband with the utmost respect and in very hospitable manner from our first meeting. She was informative. At the hospital, she approached the procedure with extreme friendliness and professionalism. The surgery and outcome were flawless including taking care of small skin problem next to the site. Highly recommended

I remember meeting while working at Banner Hospital. She was highly talked about, respected by peers and her personality was fantastic. I had a hernia repair and was greeted by Dr. Cortesi who made my husband and I feel more like we were friends, not just a numbered patient. Our follow up visit at her office we were greeted professionally and our wait time was very minimal. I am a professional also in the medical field. I've met a lot of doctors, but there are few that I would say have an outstanding repoir with the patient, who meets the patient on an even level, not at a level where "I am a doctor and you are a patient".
