Dr. Susan Ann Sherman, MD

She was rude and did not listen to what I had to say. I felt judged and will never go back.

Very backwards and disorganized

Ms. Sherman is the worst doctor I have ever met, and I have met a lot. She is rude and over bearing. She did not even address why I came to see her. She just started on my weight. I am 5' 7inches and weigh 145 pounds. What?? She put me on a diet and told to come back in 1 month and she would expect to see a huge drop in my weight. She said I was very unhealthy. How would she know. No blood work, no x-rays, nothing to go on except I do smoke. I never went back.

I found Dr. Sherman to be attentive and thorough. Her diagnostic curiosity and follow through are rare in my experience with the medical community in recent years.

I am very happy with Dr. Sherman and staff, effective and efficient. The followup after visits and procedures is the best.

I was referred to Dr. Sherman by my OB/GYN for further investigation of a reproductive hormone disorder. I was seeking both answers to what was causing my problems and suggestions to treat my symptoms. Dr. Sherman was rude, seemed disgusted by the fact that I am overweight, and told me to lose weight before coming back and then she would offer help for my symptoms. I KNOW I need to lose weight. No overweight person is ignorant of that fact. To withhold treatment simply because a patient is overweight is irresponsible, unprofessional, and damaging. My OB/GYN was not surprised when I told him I would not be going back to her. He said many people find her challenging. I would not recommend her to anyone.

The office staff is professional, office is run on time, Dr Sherman is knowledgeable and professional. She doesn't let you use over eating or not exercising as an excuse â?¦ medication for thyroid won't make you loose weight. If you have a real thyroid medical problem, she treats it. She has monitored my blood for 3 years and reduced my meds which has made a huge improvement in my quality of life. Thankfully she didn't suggest surgery as tumor has gotten smaller on its ownâ?¦ per last X-ray. Her Biopsy showed non cancer 2 years ago.

The WORST doctor I have been to in my whole life! And her staff isn't a whole heck of a lot better. I fired her last year, and have been so happy I did. I was at the hairdresser and overheard another customer talking about a bad experience with an endocrinologist, and we struck up a conversation. It turns out she was speaking about the same Dr. Susan Sherman, too! What are the chances that we are the only two who fired Dr. Susan Sherman? Slim to none, in my opinion. Spare yourself the abuse. Go elsewhere.

I was found out that I was a diabetic 10 years ago and some one suggested dr. sherman. After a number of appointments I found myself in the hospital with high blood sugar ( DKA ). Upset and by my health and stay in the hospital it was all made worse when sherman showed up. She came into my room, looked over a few pages on my chart and started to go in on me. She told me how I was going to go blind, would loose my legs and develope ED. Up until that point I had been seeing her for about 9 months. My A1C was about 12. That day I let her know just what I thought of her. The only thing that I will repeat here is that I told her she had the bedside manner of a water moccasin. From that point on, it was the best hospital stay possible. Some of the nurses on staff herd my dismissal of ms. sherman and made sure that the remainder of my stay was as comfortable as possible. Oh and by the way I still have my sight. My vision is great. I still have both legs and all of my toes. ED not me. My A1C… is 6.8...No thanks to that rude Quack.

She and I may fight like cats and dogs, but she has my best interests at heart.
