Dr. Susan Jean Sicotte, MD

Dr. Sicotte has been my doctor for twenty years. She is the most caring doctor i've ever had. She cares not only about helping you out with your illnesses but she cares for you overall as a person. She is an AMAZING doctor and a person.

I have been seeing Dr. Sicotte for over 15 years, and would not consider seeing anyone else for my neurological treatment. Since the day my GF...Now wife...met her, I knew she was the Doctor for me. She even had me see go see an Expert who is considered one of the best that dealt with my condition, just for a second opinion, and I came back to Doctor Sicotte. She cares for not only me as a patient, but always makes a habit of seeing how I am doing....not just with my medical care...but just life in general. One of the few Doctors in life that I actually enjoy going to see. The office Staff/Nurses that work with her should be commended as well. All are just great people.

At my first visit she made me feel comfortable because she listened but as my illness worsen all she wanted to do was medicate me. Don't get me wrong, meditations are needed but they are NOT the end all be all in health recovery. Medicine and treatments keep advancing and it seems she had not kept up with the latest treatments in what I'm seeing her for. Could be because she is only a part timer I'd imagine she has taken a part time attitude in her practice. I had to do tons of research and show her how things have changed to get the help I needed. Instead of immediately guiding me into different avenues of recovery, she only guided me to medications that didn't work. Like I said, I had to strongly advocate for myself and tell her about new ways of healing that medically work and are used with younger and more informed neurologist. I'm not saying you must be young to be good I'm saying you shouldn't be so pompous and vein as to believe you know it all when it's obvious you have not… kept up with what's new in treatments. An average person, like myself, shouldn't be asking for various treatments. It should be offered by the doctor. My only decision should be, what route do I want to take in my healing. Had I not informed myself by researching and asking for what should be offered, who knows how worse off I'd be right now.

Dr. Sicotte is one of the most caring and professional doctors that I have ever had. She listens to you, she truly cares about you and your symptoms and she gives good counsel, advice and medications. If she has samples, she will give you those which is always helpful. She also takes the time to check how medications interact with other medications that you are taking which I will appreciate. She is truly a wonderful example of both a knowledgeable and caring doctor. I would recommend her to all my friends who need a good and compassionate Neurologist!

DR SICOTTE IS GREAT VERY PROFFESSIONAL TAKES TIME TO LISTEN TO YOUR SYMPTONS AND I HAVE SENT MY MOTHER TO SEE HER AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO OTHERS TIME FOR A CHECK UP I WOULD NOT WANT TO GO ANYWERE ELSE SHE LISTENED TO ME WHEN MY OWN PCP DIDNT AND IM VERY SELECTIVE ON WHO I CHOOSE FOR HEALTH Care only the best

She will take her time with you, never rushes. She actually listens to you. Excellent Doctor, one of the best!
