Dr. Susan Elaine Skinner, MD

Unfortunately, Dr. Skinner was the most inattentive neurologist I have ever had. She was completely dismissive about all of my symptoms and often pushed my concerns aside. I could never be seen when I needed to, even when I experienced new symptoms nor could I get thorough evaluations.

I have been with Dr. Skinner for many years now and have to say that she is one of the best. She always gives me as much time as I need, is very knowledgeable and expeditious with my prescriptions, treatments, referrals, etc.

A terrific neurologist who is as extremely competent as she is caring. Recently had a mild stroke and the neurologist at the hospital lacked bedside manner and comprehensive information. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Skinner. She quickly gained my trust and put me at ease. She explained the illness and what I can do to prevent another stroke. She scheduled additional tests and contacted me with the positive results. I'm on the way to a rapid 100% recovery. By every measure Dr. Skinner is wonderful and I'm grateful to have her as my neurologist.

Dr. Skinner treated three members of my family over the course of about ten years. When she relocated from Bellflower to Irvine we went out of our way to continue seeing her there, even though it meant a 45 minute drive. She gave careful attention to our needs and concerns. She was the best physician I encountered in my 30 years of experience as a Kaiser patient.

Dr. Skinner was great, explained everything to me and my wife. I don't understand the bad reviews.
