Dr. Bathgate is wonderful. I truly feel that I wouldn't have my two amazing daughters if it wasn't for her. She is calm and confident and no nonsense but you know she cares. She took care of my children in utero as if they were her own and she left nothing to chance. Would highly recommend especially if you are considered high risk or advance maternal age.

Be prepared to wait for hours naked in one of her rooms, with a 10 min visit from a medical student who takes history. It's a conveyor belt, and you are a piece of luggage.

We asked Dr Bathgate specifically to abide by instructions we provided for a procedure she was to perform. Among the instructions was for her to ensure that the resident did not perform key aspects of the procedure. During the procedure, Dr Bathgate summarily ignored our instructions and allowed the resident to perform the steps we objected to. Huge ethical breach. We are considering filing ethics charges as a result and would not recommend Dr Bathgate to anyone. Beyond the poor ethics, Dr Bathgate seems highly disengaged from her patients and seems to be hardly "present" during consultations. Its almost as if she is apathetic to patient care. Do not use her.

I first came to Dr. Bathgate after a miscarriage. With her help, I now have three children. The first was a difficult pregnacy, but she worked wonders to get me to full term. She is knowledgeable about the lastest medical info for women...and an instructor to medical students. For my money, I want someone that not only practices their trade, but also teaches it. You'll be in good hands with Dr. Bathgate

My first visit lasted 3 hours! My second I waited 1 1/2 hours as well as my 3rd visit.
