Good experience with Dr Bandy ! He reviewed my list of seizures that I'd written down that I'd had since my last visit , listened to what was going on in my life when I had one , throughly reviewed and explained to continue taking Lamotrigine bc my seizures weren't worse and I had no side affects from it . We made a plan of care together. I'm very satisfied with him as my neurologist / epilepsy specialist

I had been seeing a neurologist in Bowling Green, Ky, where I had to wait an average of 3 hours to see the dr for 5 minutes. No one from the office would return my calls, so I switched to Dr. Bandy. It did take several months to get a new patient appointment, but it was well worth the wait. Dr. Bandy spent so much time going over my history, asking questions, and answering my questions. He explained everything patiently, but not condescendingly. I’ve never felt more supported and understood at a doctor appointment. And bonus: ZERO minutes in the waiting room!

This is the worst doctor I’ve ever had in my life - shouldn’t even be practicing. Very negligent in his care and poor bedside manner. My life has never been the same since he became my doctor. Am glad he isn’t anymore but just wanted to warn patients out there. Also comes across very bias in his decision making. If you question some of his decisions, he responds with an attitude. Please please patients stay away from this doctor. First time am giving a review in my life and that should indicate how deeply touched I am.

Dr. Bandyopadhyay sent less than 20 minutes with me. Upon entering the room he stated to the medical student present "Oh here is a colorful one," referencing me the patient and my exposed tattoos. Misdocumented my family medical history, medications I am taking, when injuries occurred, and understated my symptoms. The doctor did not provide information to patient distinguishing his terminology compared to medical diagnosis I have on record; example tremor vs seizure and migraine vs. headache. Dr. encouraged me not to seek care with him and sent me back to my PCP. He stated he would contact my PCP to request they write me a new prescription for medication since he would not be my doctor, but did not complete this paperwork for 2 business weeks and contacted the wrong doctor. Patients beware, potential for substandard care and discrimination.
