Dr. Suyang Li, MD

Dr. Li is an absolutely incredible OB/GYN, and I'm so grateful I found him. I had several uterine polyps found on an ultrasound in Seattle, but the wait time in Seattle to get into an OB/GYN with a referral was several months. I found Dr. Li on ZocDoc and made an appointment within a week. He then referred me to surgery to remove the polyps, and I ended up having that surgery within a week of that first appointment (less than two weeks total to have things taken care of). I'm so thankful to Dr. Li for making this such a speedy process as I can't imagine dealing with months on end of bleeding, pelvic pain, and anxiety. Dr. Li really took his time to listen, provide me with details on exactly what the surgery would look like, and he was very professional. I'd 100% recommend him. His staff was also extremely friendly and helpful.

I’m reading all these bad reviews and honestly my experience with him has been nothing less of wonderful! I have seen him since 2012 and he has delivered all three of my children.I do have one on the way, And I wouldn’t choose any other doctor! Honestly I get the long waits every now and then but what office doesn’t have those moments. He always cares about what I am concerned about and the girls in the office are and have always been amazing! I always say give off energy and get some in return! I would 100% recommend Dr. Li and I have to many friends and family members as well. Thank you guys for being awesome!

I worked for him and chose him to deliver my son and provide my GYN care. I trust him 100%. He has given me the best care and nothing less.

I went in with specific things i wanted to have looked in to and i felt like i had to tell him what i needed and felt like i had to argue with him to even take notice i am very concerned about what i came in for until he actually did my exam after i had to push him to do one he started to see maybe i might have been right about some of the things i wanted to have looked in to. i did not feel like he had the ability to listen to his patients and i felt like i was an inconvenience.

I have never in my life had to check in get undressed and be under a paper cover for an HOUR AND A HALF before anyone even came in to tell me anything. The waits are atrociously long. And the doctor caughs constantly which i think is discusting. The staff are otherwise good. Doctor and the wait, not so much. I plan on changing doctors ASAP.

This doctor doesn't have time for anyone. Everytime I go to see him it takes at the very least 40 minutes for him to come in the room. The medical assistant don't care about anything you have to say, and neither does he. This is my first pregnancy, I have so many questions and concerns and he NEVER asks me or even gives me a chance to voice them. I have had 6-7 appointments with him and today was my last. I've spent a total of 15 minutes with the man. They cancelled my most recent appointment without saying anything to me, so I walked in looking stupid. And this appointment was to find the gender of my baby. I was so frustrated. He's always consumed in his laptop and never makes eye contact with you. The staff if rough when taking blood and giving shots, and they talk down to you like your stupid. I will never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Li is by far the worst doctor I have ever encountered, he is completely unprofessional as is his front desk scheduler. I was going to him before I got pregnant just as a gynecologist so I only went once a in a while. Once I got pregnant though I have nothing but horrible experiences with him. Where do I start? Every time I go in for a prenatal apt I don't get seen by Dr. Li until at least 1 hour after the scheduled time of my appointment even if I am the first appointment of the day (mind you the front desk chick asks me to check in early). One time I waited to see him for 2 hours!! His front desk lady is extremely rude, she cuts you off when you talk and acts very fake over the phone. The ultrasound tech they have in there is also extremely rude she did not want to give me pictures of my baby at my anatomy scan. Every time I have a prenatal check up, after waiting for over an hour to see him, he runs in my room, measures my belly, listens to baby's heartbeat and says okay see you… next time and runs out in literally 2 mins or less. He doesn't even ask if I have any concerns, all he cares about is getting to the next patient. He does not return my phone calls for at least 2-3 days even if I have concerns about contractions or my baby's movement. I could go on for days about how horrible of a doctor he is. The only thing good about this clinic are the medical assistant's, they are all very nice. If I could give 0 stars I would! I would not recommend this doctor to anyone!!

Dr. Li was great and kind with service. But, there staffs were uneducated, unprofessional and had no manner to patient. They are call me only last name, no Mrs or nothing. It was very rude when me and my husband heard to call my name. They were not kind and needed to be learn professionalism.

Horrible service, my arm was bruise for 3 weeks after a blood work from a non experience nurse, called many times and no corcern at all from anybody. Staff rude and unprepqred, Dr. Is OK. My advice, don't try this doctor.

I love dr.li he such a sweetheart and really cares about your concerns and question. doesn't rush your appointments. the other reviewers complained that the appointments took longer then usual but they actually don't. it took 10 mins for me to wait. I had my first child 3 months ago and wow what an amazing experience. but I had my son 6 weeks early with no signs of this happening, I had a completely healthy pregnancy. dr.li is associated with st.franics hospital in federal way and with being as stubborn as I am I requested to give birth at st.joesphs because of the level 3 NICU he didn't even question me and said okay. when I had gone into labor early doctor li was at a doctors thing in seattle and he drove all the way to Tacoma just for me even tho he has never done a delivery at st.joesph. during delivery he was so helpful and clamed me down by just smiling at me and having a conversation with me. my labor and delivery was a walk in the park, thanks to dr.li I already cant wait to… have my second just to go back to him. also his office is very small not busy and crowded. the office lady knows me by my name and even when I call they already know me by my voice. I couldn't have asked for a better personal experience.
