Dr. Suzanne Elise Goucher, DO

This doctor is obsessed with appointment time management. She requires unreasonable proof of expressed symptoms that she can easily confirm through examination and lab tests. She insists that you seek to provide her all of your historical health records, even though she can request them with your consent. She is resistant to perform any of the simplest of procedures and or labs to confirm complaints associated with urinary tract infections, yeast infections, fractures from a fall, etc. She has a condescending attitude and tone.

I saw Dr. Goucher after we moved to the area. When I entered the room, she immediately set a timer on her phone. She didn't listen to my concerns, and she insisted that I needed to call every providor I had been to in the last TEN YEARS to get physical copies of my records. For clarification, we are military, so this is impossible. She was one of the worst PCMs I have ever had. Her background might be solid, but her actual care for patients and ability to listen and understand their needs is horrific.

This physician appears to be technically competent; however, is heavily textbook oriented when it comes to discerning a resolution to problems. She is inconsistent in applying her knowledge, skills, and abilities, in diagnosing and prescribing a course of action toward achieving what is in the best interest of a patient's overall quality of life.  This physician is more concerned with managing the time allotted for the patient’s appointment than taking the time to properly assess the patients concerns.  She is sharply critical and condescending. Her attitude and tone is not engaging, and does not leave you with a feeling that she has your best interest at heart and will be able to provide an accurate prognosis.
