After many years as a patient, I happily give a 5-star review.

Just trying to make an appointment was a horrible experience. Brusque office assistant.....asking if I take illegal drugs, narcotics, etc.........Made me feel like I was signing up for a Methadone clinic or something.....I simply wanted to make an appointment for a physical. I envisioned two crusty old broads afraid of the city and public that they are supposed to serve.

It's too bad that doctors don't understand how important their office help is. I called to get an appointment and the secretary read me off a list of "the doctor won't do"s before I even got to ask for what I wanted (a physical). One was "the doctor won't prescribe narcotics" I said, "Well, I only take synthroid." She said, "Is that a narcotic?" Wha....? She also said The doctor doesn't take UHC, even though my healthcare plan lists her as a docto, and her own website says that she does! When I asked the secretary if the UHC policy was new, she became very odd and stilited and then hung up! weird

When I visit a doctor's office I don't wantto hear how little they're receiving for my care.I don't want sarcasm. I want to know my rx'sare going to be accurately and suitably prescribed, i.e., first do no harm.
