Dr. Suzanne Laura Miller, MD

Dr Miller appears to have technical skills. However, she is lacking in basic communication skills and did not even feign interest in my questions or concerns. The appointment was rushed, and Dr Miller's demeanor indifferent at best. I would not recommend this physician.

Very knowledgeable put me at ease about my surgery. Dr Miller has eased my mind as I'm undergoing Physical therapy on my journey to a full recovery from a torn off the bone hamstring.

I tore my hamstring tendon in February of 2023. I came back from overseas and was not diagnosed by the Navy with a torn hamstring until December 23. The Navy was going to conduct the surgery; however, the surgeon had no experience with reattachment surgery. I was then referred to Dr Miller's office, and it was absolutely a godsend. Dr Miller and her team are the most outstanding doctor's group I've ever met. I had my left hamstring reattached in April. In august, I had my shouldercleanedn up. Dr. Miller performed two surgeries within six months, and I fully dunction my leg and shoulder. Again, Dr Miller, Julie Winn, Chrissy Jillian, and Bella epitomize professionals. Anyone who wants to become a doctor needs to use Dr Miller as the mold and strive to be just like her

Great experience! Dr. Miller is very easy to talk to and understand. She exudes competence and empathy. Her team is phenomenal to work with. They made everything go quickly and smoothly. The follow-up instructions and calls have been great. I received a call from the surgical facility and Dr. Miller's office the day after the procedure, they went through the whole experience, explained my whole convalescence program and answered all my questions. Once I’m done… I hope I never see them again (at MY age) - never, ever! They were LOVELY and said, " the feelings are mutual!!"

Dr Suzanne Miller, and her team of Julie Winn, Chrissy S, Jillian R and Bella, were simply extraordinary throughout this process of hamstring reattachment surgery: friendly and affable demeanor, and without the haughty airs that sometimes plague surgeons; professional but very pleasant bedside manner, always inquisitive about my care, especially the five post-op follow up sessions; on time for the appointment, rarely a wait more than three minutes; informative diagnosis, thorough and thoughtful. My only recommendation might be to use the medical terms on the diagnosis, but then convert the medical jargon into layman’s English. I have both a college and graduate degree, but not in science, so my only suggestion is to always use both the medical terminology but also accompany the medical parlance with a layman’s explanation. Dr. Miller’s Team is a reflection of all the professional and personal attributes described above.

Dr Miller was fantastic. I had a knee issue and had fears that I would need surgery. She went over the X-rays pointing out minor issues typical to my age. She has a very comforting manner and reassured me surgery wasn’t necessary. I did have a fair amount of fluid in the knee which she drained and also gave me a cortisone shot. 24 hours later, I’m walking normally, virtually pain free. Dr Miller explained everything she was doing and why and what results to expect. She also patiently answered all my questions. Highly recommend Dr Miller and her staff.

Although I have complete confidence in the surgery that Dr Miller provided, the scheduling process was a nightmare! The first surgery date was August 17th at the Dedham facility. I was told they had to cancel that because they didn't perform that surgery at that facility. Next, I was given a date of August 24th, at the Waltham facility. The day before, on August 23, I was told that the surgery was once again canceled, due to the anesthesia doctor's insisting that we needed to do this at the New England Baptist Hospital main facility at 125 Parker Hill Avenue, in Jamaica Plain. Finally I was given a date of September 7th for the surgery, nearly a month later than originally planned. The day finally arrived, but now a one pm surgery was once again delayed, not starting until 2:30. So I arrived there at 9:30 am, and left at 7:30 pm. The next day, I was scheduled to have a visiting nurse come to my house at 10am, she called me as I was leaving the Hospital to confirm this appointment. She… never arrived at my house at all, and after several phone calls later, was told that the Hospital canceled this service without telling me. I feel that I was not given good service by New England Baptist Hospital, they really need to improve on their schedule process, I wasted a good deal of my time because of it.
