Dr. Suzanne Turner, MD

I just received a letter from Vine Medical informing me that Dr Turner and her medical stall are now only accepting patients who agree to pay a monthly membership fee. She no longer accepts insurance. She says she expects to lose 50% of her patients so she can focus only on those who pay a fee each month regardless of whether they have a need to see her or not. It is elitism at it’s best.

Dr Turner literally saved my quality of life. When no one could figure out what was causing the symptoms I was having for months, she never gave up and never stopped helping me. I spent a lot of time in her office and her and the staff always made me so comfortable, even through several hours of IV sessions. From the sniffles to auto immune issues, she was the best and I hate I moved away!

We (my husband and I) have been patients of Dr. Turner from the day she opened her own practice and we could not be more pleased with every aspect of our treatment. We are Concierge patients and the price is worth every penny! She has been with us for every step of our aging health issues and treated us or made sure we had the right Dr. for each problem, and it seems there have been quite a few! She suggested our cardiologist, my husbands urologist, endocrinologist and dermatologist and they have all been top notch. We would really drag our feet to move away from ATL because of our great care in her practice. Love her nurse, and all the people who make her office work. Even a blood draw is not an issue!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Suzanne Turner for over 5 years. She uses technology like keeping notes on an iPad during consultations and provided step-wise diagnostic testing that determined issues with a good balance between cost and efficiency. She is very caring in her approach and listens well. She recommends both alternative (natural) treatments while not being opposed to traditional pharmaceuticals.

I've been a patient of Dr. Turner for several years. She takes the time to determine problems and their solutions. She always acts as if you are her only concern. As a result I trust her and consider her a very good friend. As a retired military person, if I was her rating officer, she would receive the highest rating and be promoted below the zone. Dr. Turner and her Nurse Practitioners are wonderful. The entire office staff is great, especially the front desk. When I call in, we may have to play phone tag, but I do eventually get a hold of someone.

This is not about Dr. Turner (whom I have never seen, as I see one of the NP's), but this is in reference to her staff. Front desk girls are horribly rude, inconsiderate, and clearly should not be dealing with the public..worst I've seen in a very long time. Calls are never returned after multiple promises to have someone do so. Stay away from this office!

Overall a good group of medical providers. Been with Vine Medical for 3 years now. Beware that if you don't pay the annual retainer fee to see the on premise doctor ( Dr. Turner) , you will be seen by a mid-level provider or nurse. Although with a more restricted scope of practice , these practitioners seem to be fine. If you are looking to see the same provider time after time , for consistency, be prepared to pay an annual fee to see the MD ( on top of regular medical charges & co pays ). This may work out for some people that see the doctor lots, but maybe not for the person that visits the doctor once or twice per year.

I was a patient of Dr. Turner for several years. I have relocated to SC, and can only pray I find another Doctor as good as Dr. Turner. Dr. Turner and her staff are the best. They truly car about their patients.

Both of my parents are in their 80's, and have been patients of Dr. Turner for 2 years. We feel like "part of the family" whenever we visit her office. The entire staff is friendly and caring. Dr. Turner is patient and a good listener, and has always spent enough time with us to make sure she understands all our concerns. She is excellent at explaining conditions and treatment options in "plain English" so that we feel fully informed before leaving her office. Dr. Turner seems to treat the "whole person" rather than just a set of symptoms on any given visit. She is smart and thorough, and not reluctant to refer to specialists when necessary. I highly recommend her!
