Prescribed amitriptyline for mild post-concussive syndrome, which has led to the onset of permanent debilitating tinnitus. The cost-benefit analysis of prescribing such a harsh medication for such a mild issue was horribly miscalculated. I was assured that the medication was mild and had never caused any serious side effects at small dose. Turns out that was horribly wrong, as amitryptiline is known to be ototoxic at any dose.

I found Dr. Westbrook to be dismissive. She refused to believe that I had a medical issue, which was diagnosed by a more professional and courteous physician later on. If Dr. Westbrook had listened to me, it would have saved me some time and frustration. Would not recommend.

Terrific diagnostician. She also oversaw my daughter, who had major medical issues in the best way. I recommend her for all--five star plus, plus,and plus.
