Dr. Suzette L Boyd

I want to start by saying I love the front desk staff and the nurse who worked me up. I was a first time patient and had completed my paperwork ahead of time. Signed in and was waiting in the empty lobby for 45 minutes. I then was brought back to the room and waited 30 minutes or more after the nurse did her work up. I was not checked in on once or told how much longer the wait would be. Dr. Boyd comes in and sits down in the chair across from me. She then wanted to review my medical history. It was completely inaccurate. I had spent 25 minutes writing down my detailed family history prior to my appointment as required and she was repeating it incorrectly. I then corrected her politely and she “fixed it.” She then said I was here for my hormone evaluation panel and I agreed and she just ordered the labs. She did not ONCE examine me or take a look at the areas I was concerned about (even tho that was why I was there). I was told they do not do labs in office and had to obtain them and… return in a month to review the results (which is fine). I was then checked out. About 2 weeks later I received the EOB from my insurance and she billed a moderate visit that cost my insurance $600 dollars and I had to pay $175. I went to look at my chart summary and the medical history was STILL wrong after Dr. Boyd “fixed it” in the exam room with me. She had completely incorrect diagnosis of cancer for my family and had random diagnoses for my father (that I did not report and he does not have). My occupation was also wrong (despite filling it in myself online as instructed beforehand like the rest of the paperwork). I have never given a provider a poor review before but the lack of detail and absolutely NO physical exam by her was not ok. I am seeing another OBGYN next week who I hope cares more than Dr. Boyd. Please go see another provider and avoid this practice. I paid my fee but I will not be returning.

Dr. Boyd delivered my baby because she was on call for my regular dr. I didn’t care for her attitude or bedside manner. My epidural wore off towards the end and I mentioned that I could feel her stitching my tear and she said “you can feel that? You didn’t flinch...” like ‘yes I’m not lying, I can feel that.’ It made me feel like she thought I was lying or being dramatic??? I’ve been a nurse for a few years so I could tell immediately that she was put off and annoyed by the timing of my 12:44am delivery.

I found out I was pregnant with my first baby. At 7 weeks pregnant on a Saturday morning I was experiencing some bleeding. I called Doctor Boyd's emergency line and left a message for the doctor to call me back. With this being my first pregnancy, I was scared and didn't know what to do. After about an hour of nobody calling me back I made the decision to go to the ER to get checked out because I was still bleeding at this point. The ER doctor did a sonogram and took some blood and determined I was miscarrying. Dr. Boyd's office didn't call me back until Monday. Three Days after I left a message on their emergency hotline. When they finally did call me back it was a nurse who I talked to and she asked how I was doing. Obviously, due to the circumstances I wasn't doing very well because I was miscarrying. Doctor Boyd never took the time to call me and apologize, I only spoke with a nurse. I will not be seeing this doctor anymore. She clearly does not care about her patient's… well being and I don't recommend her to anyone especially someone pregnant with their first child.

Wish she had a website to get test results, schedule appointments and ask questions more easily. Love her though.

She is warm and friendly, down to earth, and easy to talk to. I was very impressed with her bedside manner. She gave me her undivided attention and never made me feel rushed. Great Experience!!!

I think Dr. Boyd is a great doctor, but I don't think Lori the front desk clerk is a good fit for her office, (attitude, can be rude, and non passionate. She does not make you feel welcomed at all, however, I have known this Dr. for years and haven't had any problems, I think Lori will cause a lot of people to seek other places to get treatments or see a Dr., due to the unfriendly manner she expresses when coming into the office

Our first visit with Dr. Boyd was not very pleasant. The receptionist Lori is extremely rude and has no manners what so ever. Every time I called back to find out the result of my tests..the staff was not helpful and would just tell me that someone will call you back. We had had enough of the rudeness from the receptionist and decided to go with another Dr. But unfortunately I bled at 16 weeks and was told to follow up with my obgyn asap so we decided to give Dr. Boyd another chance. She seemed nice on our second visit and was also helpful. We will continue to look for a better Dr.

Every time we go there is at least an hour wait. The last time I was in it took me two hours to get in and out. She would not issue birth control unless I came to see her for an annual pap smer. She also gives tests without your consent didnâ??t even ask if I wanted the test, she just did it. And that is a big issue when you donâ??t have insurance. A doctor should discuss things with you and not just do them without your approval. I would not recommend.

Do not go here if you're looking for a doctor with good bedside manner. The first visit was great but it was because I was a new patient after that it went all downhill. she rushed through her appointment only spent a minute with me and didn't even ask if I had any questions or concerns plus she had her back to me the entire time. this is my first baby I need someone who is compassionate and will listen to me about any questions I may have. The staff is rude and the sonographer can't even take good pictures. Overall horrible experience, I do not recommend.

Dr Byod makes you wait at least an hour before each appointment. She does not offer an information, but will answer questions if you have them. Her staff gave me result of my gestational diabetes test and said I had it, but then the Dr told me after the weekend said that they misdiagnosed me. She didn't describe things as she is doing them, such as make me aware that she is about to break my water. And never even asked my husband if he wants to cut the cord. Bad bedside manner.
