Dr. Suzette Maria Laroche, MD

Getting refills on medication is quite an ordeal! Overall she is a very good doctor, but needs a better way of renewing her patient's prescriptions. On two occasions, after trying for three (3) days to get a refill for seizure medicine, have run completely out!. This should never happen.

Fantastic doctor. Obtaining regular prescription refills sometimes takes multiple calls.

My mother has epilepsy, and she has been to so many doctor. They all gave medicine that made her so dizzy she could barely walk and filled her with rashes. The side effects were worse than the problem. For a while, my mother gave-up on doctors, but at a friend's strong suggestion, I took her to a doctor at Emory. Dr. Laroche was a very good listener and very understanding. She prescribed some medicine that initially caused mild dizziness, but nothing too bad, and no rashes. Typically, my mother's seizures would be 2-4 months, but now it has been 6 months since she had a seizure. I am truly grateful to Dr. Laroche for making my mom better. She is a wonderful doctor.

She's a good doctor, but I got a special blood test done for her, and rather than calling me with the result, I got a letter saying I needed to see another specialist. I feel like she or her nurse should have talked to me directly, considering I neede to see someone else.
