Where do I begin? I agree with the other rating; she definitely shouldn't be in an American psychiatric hospital with mentally ill patients, nor should she be diagnosing anyone. She's rude and covers her mistakes by changing her story, she doesn't comprehend over half of what patients tell her, she doesn't keep any private information confidential in any way, form or fashion. She also has everyone believe that the patient has no need for any other medication for other health issues aside from what she prescribes. The worse thing she did was upon discharge, she failed to give me a prescription for hypertension/hbp, even though I've been taking hbp meds for years now. HOW can a doctor do that??? The entire time I was in UTHCPC, I received my normal two doses per day of fifty mg's. of Atenolol, yet when I was picked up, I discovered I had no b.p. medication, and I was taken off of the Adivan I was given while I was a patient there. WTG doc... Oh yeah, I failed to mention that… even with my hbp med,, my bp was still high; I reckon she thought that my bp would magically drop, especially since I was placed on anxiety meds. then taken off of them at once. Really?

I shudder to think that she is also a psychiatrist for CHILDREN at the HCPC in the children's and adolescents' units. Children, who are usually not as adept at expressing themselves or knowing that what she is doing or saying is wrong. Thinking that their teachers and their parents think the same way. And thinking it's right that they do. What she must be doing to those poor children. I imagine her telling them things like BUT ONE THING YOU HAVE TO DO NO MATTER WHAT IS OBEY YOUR ELDERS and things like that. She is old and has 26 or so years of experience and feels it is her right to say these things. She tells you what you HAVE to do OR ELSE, and nobody, especially a child, should be subjected to that. She does not care for your mental health, but your your mental hygiene. She does not care about your feelings, but about your behavior. She does not care about your mental health first, but about your physical health first. She also keeps patients for longer than she has a right to and… lies to them, telling them there is nothing they can do about it. She thinks she is still in communist Russia, and that she is all-powerful. She must be replaced ASAP! The scary thing is that she acts more competent and confident than all the others, and intimidating, but she is the LEAST COMPENT DOCTOR AT THE HCPC!
