In 2008 Dr. Nathan performed a cervical replacement of 3 discs and fused my cervical spine. I was to have a 2 inch cut that was horizontal. I woke up with a 4 inch cut vertically that was left wide open. No stitches, no glue, no staples. 2 days later I let him know that I was having trouble swallowing. He told me it was normal. 2 days after that, Memorial Weekend, I ended up in the ER. I was told I had a golf ball size pocket of infection. It was a staph infection. The ER doctor called Nathan who had flown to California for a birthday party. The on call surgeon was also in Cali at that same party. Nathan flew back and had to do surgery again to clean out the infection. I had to have a pic line for 3 months to get the strong antibiotics I needed for the staph infection. NEVER EVER in my life have I seen such a disregard for a patient. I would not recommend him at all. Ever!

Did a radiation procedure for Trigeminal neuralgia that according to other neurosurgeons should have never been done. It has caused to to have permanent damage such as lost hearing, can’t feel some parts of my face, numb cornea, tingling muscle spasm, and it didn’t even work fix the original problem. I rated 1 star because that is what you need for the review but I wouldn’t give him any stars

After being misdiagnosed at FMH, Dr. Nathan saved me from paralysis or worse. He is straight forward and honest. That is a refreshing change from other physicians. Many Thanks!

Dr. Nathan and his staff were everything one could hope for and then some. I felt at ease with the professionalism I was shown by not only the staff but of course Dr. Natan himself. The success of the Surgery and recuperation was and still is truely outstanding. This Practice and Doctor is highly recommended .

I hate this doctor. I had to have surgery done back in 2002. He cutted my stomach open and left it open. And now I have a big scar on my stomach cuz he didn't know what he was doing. Wouldnt for my dad transferring me to fairfax i would be here cuz of nathan.

After many failed attempts with pain management and Drs performing unnecessary procedures with no real surgery advisement, I saw Dr. Nathan. in one day i got the X-ray, he reviewed it with me, was very straightforward in diagnosing my deteriorating disc and recommended surgery. it has been 9 months and I have never felt better in my life. my quality of life was not good for two years prior. Now I have my life back. I highly recommend Dr. Nathan. He is very direct but also has a great bedside manner.

My overall experince with Dr.Nathan and staff was wonderful, I found him very caring and staff was great!
