Dr. Swetang M Patel, MD

Dr. Patell is a good Dr, unfortunately his administrative staff is terrible, the office manager never returns calls related to billing and they are billing more then what the insurance states to bill me, and they never smile and are just unhappy to be there, please check your EOB against you’re bills to make sure you are only paying what you should be , if his office staff was nicer and happier we would have reminded his patient , but I can’t deal with the staff yelling at me and that’s exactly what happened twice, a few people have told me they had the same experience at his office and left as well, the front desk is really the fav rod the office and they are not a good face for him.

I have no complaints with their medical staff. PA Ambrose is patient and thorough. All the nurses were efficient and kind. But the office staff is rude and the lady handling referrals is incompetent. I sat at a referred appointment for over an hour because Patel's office had botched the referral. The referrel's office couldn't get Patel's office to cooperate so they ended up rescheduling my appointment. When I called Patel's office, they blamed everything on the other office's fax machine and suggested that I drive over to pick up the referral. Cool. I always love doing somebody else's job for them. Upon arriving back at Patel's office, they just threw the referral at me with no apologies for the now hour and half I had wasted that morning. The best part? My referral was STILL incorrect: I am a female trying to get a mammogram but the very first line of the Patel office referral stated that I am a male. Patients, beware!

The doctors are all so very thorough and really seem to care about you. i did have a problem with one of the ladies at the front desk on my last visit, but this visit there were new front secretaries that were very nice and got me in within 5 min of checking in. They seemed to take my feedback about wait time and make changes quickly. The doctors and PA’s are amazing, and I haven’t found better anywhere I have been. I went in for a serious problem and they took it serious ordered blood work, x-rays, eye exam, and follow ups. Most thorough doctor I have found

I am a 72 year old retired Marine! I have been a patient of Dr. Patel since he took over the practice from Dr. Thomas. I have always been provided: 1. Superb medical care; 2. Courteous service and 3. Excellent referrals. Dr. Patel has a noteworthy staff, too include, two of the best Physician Assistants in our area. I highly recommend Dr. Patel's practice to anyone desiring superb medical service.

I honestly only went to Dr. Swetang Patel once. The patient care was ok, but I was so disturbed by the way the Dr. and the office Manager spoke to their employees and the tension ...WOW...you could cut it with a knife. I do not like to see others talked down to and made to feel like crap!!! Pretty Pathetic if you ask me !!!! There are too many AMAZING doctors out there who are amazing "humans" also......so I definitely will not be going back !!

I have been a patient of Dr PTels for eight years. I have found him to be one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever had. He takes all the time you need and most importantly, he listens to you. His staff is curteous and helpful. His PA Stephanie is also wonderful. I am so glad I found this Dr.
