Dr. Syed Faizan Ali, MD

Excellent communication and explanation of medical terms. Took the time to describe condition, procedures and potential outcomes. Good “bedside manner” and wasn’t in a hurry to get to his next appointment until I was comfortable and didn’t have any other questions.

Although Dr. Ali was very nice and polite, it became clear early on in my appointment that he was not hearing what I was saying and, rather, was focused on only one part of my MRI scan. In fact, he asked me 3 times if I had ever gotten injections to block my occipital nerve. Each time I replied that I had and that it was my pain specialist who referred me to his office. My scan was of my brain and cervical spine. He told me that the brain scan was clean and NEVER mentioned my neck. The MRI report stated that there is significant-severe damage on every level of my C-spine, but he had no intention of addressing that report with me. In fact, after he told me to have a nice day, I questioned him about my neck. His reply was that he did what was asked of him, but would refer me to physical therapy (which I've already done and it made things worse). When I left, I felt like throwing my hands up and screaming at the top of my lungs!
