Dr. Syed Sajid Hasan, MD

I’ve never left a bad review for anyone; I'm still in shock about how I was treated today by Dr. Hasan's staff, Tiffany and Monica and a third female receptionist who flat out HUNG UP ON ME while I was talking!!! I’ve been a patient under Dr. Hasan’s care for 5 years with no issues. He has prescribed me the same medication for these past 5 years to treat my IBS. I'm now on my 3RD WEEK of being completely out of my medication after both myself and my pharmacy have been calling twice a week with NO RESPONSE from anyone! I've spoken with them at least 6 times in 3 weeks! I finally asked yesterday to speak w/ the manager. Name is Monica, instead of offering any understanding or getting the nurse to call me, she tells me that Dr. H is "No longer able to prescribe my medication because the name of their practice has changed & he would fill it this "ONCE as a courtesy." When I asked to discuss this w/ Dr. Hasan I was rudely told he's out of the office until July. Med still not filled either.… I’ve now seen so many reviews like mine about how verbally abusive his office manager and staff are!

Dr Hasan really rushes through his appointments and diagnosis and has the most unprofessional, unkind officer manager. Everyone seems to be afraid of her, she is very rude, acts like she's the Dr or the owner I'm not sure if she is somehow related to Dr Hasan, has an inappropriate relationship with him or he's just afraid of her too but there has to be a reason that she runs the office like she owns it the other employees make remarks when she is not around other medical staff Dr Hasan acts like he's afraid to say anything to her. He meets with all patients with the door to his office open so not only can others hear your confidential medical information, but you can hear others while in his office as well if you need a refill the office manager won't help anything you need if you have to ask her for help you will get chastised like you're a child in trouble. It's very disheartening that she is allowed to treat patients this way and that Dr Hasan just cranks out appointments squeezing… in appointments every 15 minutes throwing a diagnosis and Rx at you and when you go to another Dr they never find whatever he claims to find, and you can't ask too many questions they will pretty much reprimand you.

I have been a patient of Dr Hasan for over 15 years. I am a self pay patient and can only afford to see him once a year. I never had a problem getting him to refill my medication up until the last 2 years. When I call to get a much needed refill I have to deal with his very rude office manager that seems to make all of his decisions for him. I have an appt set up to see him in a couple of months but because I do not have the money to see him now, his office manager refuses to call my refill in. This puts me at risk to have a seizure. He has also relocated his office approx 5 times since I have been his patient. Very dissatisfied and know now that his medical services are all about the money and not the patients well being.

Dr. Hasen diagnosed me with a neurological disorder that upset me so much that I went to a another doctor to get a second opinion. Dr. Hasen made the wrong diagnosis, and my health is now being managed by the other doctor at Emory. Beware.

After struggling with migraines for so long and having atleast 5 a week after just a few test the first drug he put me on worked and I have been migraine free now for a few months. I am forever grateful for his excellent care. I am now able to function with everyday life. Thank You Dr. Hasan. He also provides excellent help with elderly Mother. Sincerely, Brenda Gail Holmes

I was referred to Dr. Hasan 6 months ago. He has missed 3 of my scheduled appointments. I have only seen him twice and had to wait 3 hours to see him on one appointment. He has yet to diagnosis my issues. Real nice guy but very frustrated with the level of service.

Every time I go there, I wait at least one hour, last time it was 2 hours.

I really liked him when I started going. He even called to see how I was feeling and adjusting to my meds. I am a seizure patient and needed my medication levels checked after changing my dose. Over time he seemed to change and not on top of things. I learned to call staff to see if he was there yet when I had late morning appointments. because he was always late. There was one time he doubled my dose from 150mg to 300 at one time after changing neurologist and research he should have never upped it more than 25mg at a time. I also ended up in the hospital with toxic levels of meds. This wouldn't have happened if he would have checked my levels. I liked him as a person but don't trust him as a doctor. His office was not open a good bit of the time and calls would go to answering service . It was not possible to get refills during those times or staff to call back.
