Dr. Syed Iftikhar Hussain, MD

I find that docter to be very good. He has met with myself 2 times. I like him. He's very thorough, smart and has help me a lot.. He found things about myself that no one took the time to look. I really like this docter. Professional, to the point.

I don't know where some of these very negative reviews are coming from but I've had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Hussain and his wonderful staff. I am saying this as a 68 year old male who has seen a number of doctors over my life time. I had a very serious bout of pneumonia, I mean very serious and Dr. Hussain had no problem reaching out to a pulmonary doctor to help cure me, and cure me they did.

If you're a female and have pain,beware of this person.

I've been seeing Dr. Hussain for several years and don't find the guy to be very accurate and 'always' need to ask for a second opinion. He doesn't always stay on the same subject I talk about, either. And doesn't help much!

He claims to be an expert in a new specialty every time the winds change..Has abandoned his chronic pain patients that HE convinced to go on and put on pain meds prior to CDC guidelines and insane war on opioids, but no longer is a pain specialist. Cuts his patients off to face withdrawal alone, to satisfy medical boards because he says he is afraid of losing his license. ..now I see online claims with his advertisements suggesting that he is also a geriatric doctor, psychiatrist, pulmonary/sleep specialist, heart specialist, diabetes specialist, internest, gyn, etc., etc., etc.! He is none of what he claims to be and cares about his wallet above all else, especially his patients. Don't ever disturb him with an urgent matter when his office is not open...he will flip out on you and tell you not to go to the ER because neither they or he can help you. In 8 years he never examined my body without covering not even ONE time! He claims to be all alone handling his practice, but it is… named Northern RI Medical Services Inc. How is that all alone? He only treats at one hospital, Landmark, despite advertising that he sees patients at several other RI hospitals. Its all bull...everything about him. If you care about your health or your loved one's health...stay away from this n__t__b!

DR HUSSAIN IS GREAT MD HIS STAFF HOWEVER NEED A BIT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING

I have been taking mom to see Dr Hussain for many years. He is thorough, intelligent, patient and kind. My mom is very shy but Dr Hussain puts her a ease. Now that she is in assisted living Dr has worked with their staff to create a care plan. It is truly remarkable how she has recovered from pneumonia and is enjoying life again

I would seek alternative medical care. Your health is worth it.

i can't understand this man. his accent is too thick. he is also very critical and pretends to be nice but actually is very rude. he's not nice to the people in his office. all he wants is to see lots of patients. doesnt care about us individually.

A very intelligent and caring provider. Very comprehensive care, excellent bedside manner and intent listener! Wish there were more of him to go around.
