Dr. Syed Minhaj Mahmood, MD

I found it interesting that another patient stated that Dr. Mahmood blamed his lung trouble to be from acid reflux. I was also gasping for air and having great difficulty in breathing and thought that was pretty urgent, but Dr. Mahmood took his time in comihg to my room for my appointment. He kept to his schedule and seemed very unsympathetic to my extreme breathlessness.

Dr. Mahmood is a good doctor. His office staff is substandard. One in particular, Kinsel which he likes. Kinsel has a way of misconstruing information when reporting to the Dr. to protect her job. However, she constantly misinforms the doctor of her abilities in cases of patient scheduling, talks to patients with disrespect, will call patients and tell them she will call back and fails to return calls, leaves patients hanging on hold on the phone too long (the longest was 45 min), and is always trying to make the patient feel as though it's their fault not hers. Dr. Mahmood when you mention things will bring her into the office and discuss, however, she lies to protect her position and puts patients in a very uncomfortable situation. For this reason, Dr. Mahmood is loosing patients and receives very negative feedback from peers and patients.

Amazing doctor with a sweet smile. He's the first doctor ever that actually cares about the patient more than himself! I wasted so much of his personal days and time and he always showed up to make sure I lived! I was about to die until this SAINT showed up and saved my life!! Can't thank him enough!

Dr Mahmood seems to diagnose everyone with the same condition. He tells all his patients that their lung conditions are related to Heartburn and that they shoudl change their diet. I polled several people in his waiting room one day and they all said the same thing.
