Phone calls are not return. Neuropathy is not a specialty. New symptoms are not addressed till next follow visit, which can be month. Told to call every day for a cancellation appointment. Tried for a month. There is no wait list to get on. It’s best if you find a pain specialist.

My first time writing a medical review on a physician. Pro: Nice bedside manner, good clinical exam. Con: failed to assist as promised, failed to return multiple phone calls, weak medical note. In total, most disappointing.

My 1st visit was frustrating due to a long wait...the doctor had been called to the hospital for an emergency The next two visits had minimal waits. Doctor Shaukat answered questions thoroughly, administered a test painlessly, and was willing to order tests he felt I should have for other ailments. He is interested in the whole messy package of an aging person. Only complaint--difficult to get an appointment.

Dr. Shaukat is a caring and concerned doctor. He found a life threatening issue with my husband that no other doctor even would consider. I trust him but the staff could use a little more training on common curtesy and patience with patients as well as perfecting office duties.

He was even better than people said. Calm, thorough, explained everything so I could understand

I arrive for my appointment on time. The doctor was running an hour late. They could not believe that I cannot stay when I had another appointment. They expect me to cancel my other appointment that would actually see me on time. When I asked to reschedule for another late afternoon appointments, they offered me something else, totally ignoring my wishes. This was after they expected me to cancel my appointment that I had later after this one. As far as I’m concerned they over booked their appointments, have no concern for the patients themselves, and should not be referred to by any insurance company. I will be contacting my insurance company and notifying them of this issue and asking Them to refer me to a more concerned facility.

Never actually talked to me - had the assistant put the probes on my scalp for the test and when he was given the results he had th young lady tell m the results. He never talked to me afterwards. When I called to make an earlier checkup appointment I couldn't have one because I already had one scheduled. I don't think he's an actual neurologist ...he does studies. My checkup consisted of him asking me a few questions and that was it. I'm asking to transfer my file to a neurologist at Christiana Hospital.

The office staff seems overwhelmed. When he sees you, he enters the information into the computer himself, so the notes are immediately uploaded into the system. He gave me good advice and things to look out for that I wouldn't have thought up on my own, especially after recovering from brain surgery. He explained the importance of caution around the home and outside the home.

This doctor has been a mistake since the start. He has been treating my grandmother who has been showing signs of Dementia. He has horrible bedside manners, he's non sympathetic toward his clients and their family members and doesn't call back promptly. Appointments are never ok time, he's always running behind. My grandmother's ended up in the emergency room from side affects of a medicine heprescribed to her and it took him five days to return our phone call when his staff let him know she was hospitalized. He's not worth your time or money. Call around, find someone better.
