Dr. Sylvia Ann Bartee-Allen, MD

This is written for me by my dad (I'm telling him what to say). I'm a Special Needs (learning disability) person so I need help writing and posting on-line. I truly love Dr. Bartee. My dad says her name is Dr. Bartee-Allen but I've known her since before the Allen. Dr. Bartee listens to me, whether it's about my medical issues or about what I'm doing in Special Olympics. I can tell she cares about me. She explains things so I can understand (mostly) and is patient with me. She helps me when I'm scared or doing something new. I don't ever want her to retire. She understands me and always does what's best for me, just like mom and dad.

This is a very caring Dr. She listens to you. She will get to the bottom of problems referring you to good Doctors.

I moved here from Florida in 2007 and have been a patient of Dr. Bartee-Allen for 7 years. She is always available to answered all of my questions. In 2014 I had a total knee replacement and she was there for me throughout the whole ordeal.

Dr. Barte Allen is the most caring, thorough , Nd understanding Doctor here in charlotte, I have been with her now 3 years and love her mannerism. I have never felt rushed to share with her why I am in the office and she listen intensively to me when it comes to my problems and realy seeks to find what is wrong with me and helps with a solution. I have recommended Dr Sylvia to family and friends and they love her as well. Dr Barte Allen listens to her patients. You will never feel rushed in and out.

Because of all of the positive reviews I scheduled an appointment expecting to complete a physical and have a rash looked at. She was cordial indeed but rushed through my appointment and provided a prescription for my issue. Less than a month later I developed even more of a rash in other parts of my body. She was unwilling to assist me further and I was told by an assistant to go to a specialist after paying close to 200 for the initial visit! Based on the reviews here it seems she's a great doctor, I don't know what happened with my visit.

I was recommended to Dr. Bartee-Allen a couple of years ago. She is the best doctor for me. She spends time answering my questions and going over my medical history. She brings me back into the office for a follow up depending on my need. I could not ask for a better doctor who cares about her patient.

I have been a patient of Dr Bartee Allen for several years, actually probably approx 15 yrs, I left her for one year due to University Family Physicians was not covered by my insurance. Once we changed insurance I was able to go back to UFP and Dr Bartee-Allen. She is amazing, she does not rush you, she sits and talks to you like a friend, tell it how it is. She doesnt beat around by giving you medical terms that you may or may not understand. I sometimes dont like what she is telling me but I know I have to listen and do as she tells me if I want to get better. I have and will recommend her to my Coworkers
