Sylvia Kwon, FNP

Sylvia Kwon is a board-certified, family nurse practitioner who provides care for patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.

With a focus on the whole person, Ms. Kwon values creating a supportive atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and confident discussing all health matters, from medical to mental health.

She views her role as a patient's comprehensive health partner, addressing immediate needs and providing education that empowers patients to make lifestyle choices that support long-term health goals.

Ms. Kwon obtained both her undergraduate and master's degrees in nursing from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu where she resided for 13 years.

She possesses a strong passion for delivering care to underserved and underinsured communities. She provided both inpatient and outpatient care in a critical access hospital and clinic in rural Colorado.

Her previous experience includes more than six years in cardiac/telemetry nursing and academia, where she served as nursing …faculty for a nursing program.

Ms. Kwon relocated to Tucson from Colorado for warmer weather and a more relaxed lifestyle. She likes to stay active by engaging in rock climbing, hiking, camping, barre fitness and paddle boarding.
