Sylvia is a one of a kind! She is professional, kind, thoughtful, and insightful. She has helped me over the years to navigate delicate personal situations, to bolster my confidence when needed, to solve certain issues by taking a different perspective, filter and organize emotions. Above all, she has made me feel supported. I always recommend her.

Struggling with depression is no fun. It's not as easy as answering "what's wrong." Having someone with knowledge, experience and empathy is what I need to work through the dark patches that come with depression. Sylvia is just that person. Side note -- her office address is 40 East 83 Street

Too bad that there are two neg comments for this woman. I spent about 6 or 7 years talking to her, being heard, and getting useful feedback.

Receiving "treatment" from Dr. Lester was a terrible decision. She damaged my relationship and hurt me personally psychologically. I would never recommend her to anyone seeking help. Look elsewhere.
