Dr. Sylvia Tricia Rojas, MD

Dr. Rojas is amazing, she is currently my Neuro at the VA. Shes very insightful, caring, soft spoken and sweet. I have had some rough times with losing two babies and she spoke to me about my concerns and listened to my feelings. She builds me up and its really easy to speak with her. My medications are on track, she is very helpful and will answer any questions. People on here complaining on why they don't like her, talk it out with your Doctors, don't assume they just know your feelings.

She was Doctor for over a year , very friendly and personable. She took the time to listen and seemed to be sincere. But when my next appointment came up her office called the day before and she was no longer working there., she had quit months before. I was told there was no replacement for her.. I do believe she had misdiagnosed me because none of the meds she gave me helped. So I am still suffering with no help. I was told she didn't even give the hospital notice that she was leaving . Not a professional move and reading comments below, this seems to be her M.O. Just quit without notice

Dr. Rojas actually listens to me. She is such a wonderful and caring doctor.

Do not see this doctor. She is notorious for leaving her patients high and dry. She leaves town without warning and without a trace. Do not go to her!

This doctor is HORRIBLE! Our daughter suffers from autism. Dr. Rojas decided to take her off of the medication we had been using for years for her autism and behavior and put her on another one which did not work at all. When we asked that our daughter be put back on her old medication, Dr. Rojas told us to go see a psychiatrist! Her physician's assistant was also rude. We had to keep Faxing notes because our phone calls weren't being returned and when they were, there was the rude physician's assistant on the other end of the line. Our daughter missed a lot of her senior year in high school due to this doctor and we thought very hard about turning her into the Medical Review Board for their opinion and consideration.

Dr. Rojas was such a wonderful Dr.! She took the time to explain how the brain works and how our nerves affect the brain. My husband suffers from Intracranial hypertension and she was the only one who gave us the ins and outs about this condition. When she decided to close her office, we were notified a year in advance to give us and them time to retrieve our medical records, along with refferals to rockwood clinic and other qualified neurologists. They were even willing to fax any or all medical records to any doctor of our choice. Dr. Rojas is very missed in this household. Best wishes to her!

My new doctor tried to get my records from Dr. Rojas but has been unsuccessful and it has now been a year since she closed her practice and left town. I wonder if the Medical Board is doing anything about it. My new doctor says that it is illegal for a doctor to destroy records so where are my records? And where is Dr. Rojas? Does anyone know?

Sylvia was my Nueologist for abt 1 1/2 years. Now she has left town and I can't get my medical records and have to start over with a new physician... Does anyone have any idea where she moved to?

I spoke to Dr. Rojas right before they closed the office. My visit ended with both of us in tears. I have Severe Chronic Daily Migraines, Dr. Rojas was able to give me something no other Neuro has ever been able too, "HOPE!" She gave me back a life worth living and then some. She had it set up for a lot of the patients to go to Rockwood Clinic. I Have been trying to set up appointments, and have been getting no where. Dr. Rojas gave me a hug before I left and told me if things didn't work out at Rockwood, to contact her Professor/Instructor in Seattle, Washington. Her name is also Sylvia, I will Have to look for her last name, but she taught Dr. Rojas everything she knows. It was at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, WA. If I can find the number or track the Professor down I will post the information. I myself will go all the way to Seattle just to never go back to the way life was before.

I love Dr. Rojas she is so wonderful and caring! Through her help, my horrible migraines have stopped and I've been able to get my life back. I will miss her dearly, but wish her the best in her future.
