Dr. Taaha Ahmed Shakir, MD

Dr. Shakir is personable, extremely knowledgeable, and kind. On a Sunday, he responded so quickly to address my daughter's concern. He is informative and explains thoroughly. He took the time to answer all my questions. He is very caring and followed up with me the next day to see how my daughter was doing. He is a wonderful pediatrician and I would highly recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Shakir has been our go to doctor for our children age 6 and 2, since the time they were born. Besides being very experienced and knowledgeable, he also knows how to allay any concerns or fears parents, especially new parents, may have with regards to their kid. He is never dismissive of our concerns, listens to what we have to say, asks the right questions and makes a diagnosis. He is not an alarmist and explains things patiently and calmly. He is accessible anytime -he has answered my texts countless time after hours. He always follows up, even if I forget to update him. He genuinely cares for all his patients. Highly recommed!
