She was rude and disrespectful. Does not listen and acts like her intelligence is being questioned with a question is asked.

I came to Dr. Chowdhury after suffering life threatening UC for many years and undergoing several surgeries associated with the disease. I find Dr. Chowdhury to be no nonsense and direct, but at the same time kind. I feel fortunate that I found her.

Six years ago, in 2010, I had terrible abdominal pain and nausea. I had been taken to Memorial Hospital, very ill. I had Pancreatitis, needed my gall bladder removed and Various other procedures during my time there as a patient. Dr. Chowdhury was professional, caring, and efficient. I'm thankful for her help.

This place used to be good. However, in the last few years they have become more and more difficult to deal with. They take weeks to refill medications. Every month, medications I have been on for 7 years that never change, that keep me from rejecting my transplanted liver, I will run out because they drag their feet authorizing them. Legally they can authorize refills for up to 6 months at a time, instead they only do one month at a time. It creates more work for them and a hassle for me. It is very difficult when I have to take time off and make multiple trips to the pharmacy to deal with one bottle one day, then another the next day etc. This week alone I have made 3 trips to the Pharmacy and I still don't have all my drugs. The Pharmacy calls, faxes, etc for 2 weeks before KGMG ever responds. This is the sign of a business that has lost it's caring nature. Sometimes I will run out of my anti-rejection medications for 3 to 4 days at a time, this puts my health at risk and… potentially could cause me to die. It is frustrating because I own a Veterinary Hospital here in town and we don't treat our clients or patients like this. Refills are authorized the same day we receive them and we are a very busy Hospital.

I have seen this Dr for a very long time. However, recently their office has had several changes--all for the negative. I was asked to pay for STAT bloodwork but never informed of the results. Wait times have increased. Messages are left unreturned.
