Dr. Taggart T. Gauvain

Dr. Gauvain is an excellent doctor. He is patient, kind, and takes time to listen. He clearly explained the procedures I needed and what to expect along to way. I felt very comfortable and confident in his care. I credit him with my ability to walk normally and pain free for the first time in years.

I had a wrist fracture that he repaired surgically. I had a great experience. They helped me tremendously. I would recommend him and his office to anyone.

Two and half years ago I had my foot rebuilt by Dr. Gauvain. My arc had completely collapsed and I was in pain all the time. Since healing from the surgery I have been able to do things I hadn't done in years. I now walk at least 3 miles every day and play dog sports with my two poodles every weekend. I am so grateful for the excellent care I received from him and his entire staff. I encourage anyone who neeeds help with problems like mine to go see him immediately!

Du Gauvain treated my mother in law and we were very happy with the surgery and the follow-up visits. He was very patient and answered all of our questions. The surgery was successful and my mother in law is healing well and just as quickly as Dr Gauvain expected.

Crashed a go cart and broke my collar bone in five pieces. Went to see Dr Gauvain and he said we are doing surgery in the morning. I thought, how can we get insurance approvals and such that quick, he said we will worry about that later, we are doing surgery in the morning, be here at 6am. Surgery went great, I was off pain meds in just about three weeks and went to physical therapy. My physical therapist told me what a great surgeon I had since it was healing so well and virtually pain free. Dr. Gauvain took time to ask questions and to do the right tests to determine my issue. He treated me with gentleness and answered every question. And his care has resulted in no more ankle pain! Great staff and excellent care. Highly recommend Dr. Gauvain!

Dr. Gauvain, and his own nurses are so wonderful. He explained my surgery in details. The bed side manner was top notch. The follow up visits were very good. He is extremely thorough in his work. His nurses are very nice. Very helpful when you call (even if you leave a message they get back to you fairly quick). You can trust Dr. Gauvain with your ankle/foot troubles. He will take good care of you

Doc has been patient providing me with all options for corrective surgery, including statistics, and answers to my questions. Has not pushed me one way or the other and is receptive to my concerns and reluctance related to foot surgery. He is very professional and has a good bedside manner.
