Dr. Tahseen Najma Shareef, MD

I have seen Dr. Shareef in her Lake Arrowhead office, approximately 5 times. During every visit, she is attentive, professional, asks questions regarding my health, both physical and mental. She is never in a rush, she takes her time, and makes sure that all my questions are answered. She is kind, compassionate, has a great sense of humor, and she is open to my opinions about my medical care. I cannot recommend Dr. Shareef enough. I feel grateful to have such an amazing physician, and human being, as my doctor.

Made appointments for my husband and I specifically to see Dr. Shareef and were given the nurse practitioner instead. That felt pretty underhanded. However, I only needed an emergency prescription for diabetic test strips. Paid for appointment and they never sent the scrips. Tried for five days to get response. I was unable to check my sugars for five days. Ridiculous to forget to send them. They phoned twice but when I answered the line was dead. Finally reached them and they said I swore and hung up on them. Yeah I hung up when I couldn’t hear anything on the line. Their behavior was outrageous and beyond rude. Dr. Shareef is great, but there is some serious incompetence going on in that office. I have sent all my family and friends to see her. I dearly regret that recommendation. I cannot recommend this doctor because I shouldn’t have to go without care because they forgot about me. As I was leaving I asked them if they sent the scrips and they said the doctor will do it soon. But… she never did. The staff‘s behavior was just so unfair, and honestly personally hurtful. This outcome is supremely disappointing and didn’t have to be.

I have had several appts. with the dr. and they have all been cancelled or the time changed and I have yet to see her. One appt. I had was cancelled without my knowledge and they said I had cancelled it and I had not. They claim they have not received my blood test results which were done over two weeks ago at Mountains Hospital. She certainly isn't Dr. Win and I wish she had kept the same staff as all of Dr. Wins patient knew them well. I think they would have been a BIG help to the awfully run office now. Will be looking for another dr.

I think at this stage of her life, she cares more about money than her patients. The new office location in Lake Arrowhead is a disaster and the doctor has no reason to treat her patients with reckless abandon. She will abandon you as a patient if you have a difficult diagnosis. Run from this doctor!

She bought Dr. Win's practice, which are hard shoes to follow . She has let go Dr Win's staff (which knows the business) plus they could have been a big helped with the transition. The new staff doesn't know what to do, can't even answer the phones. Have had 3 appointments and each time she has been 45 minutes late getting to the office. Will be looking for another Doctor

I have always had the best experience with Dr. Shareef. She was my mom's doctor for many years, as well as my brother. She always takes the time to listen to any issues that I may be having. I don't ever feel like she's rushing to her next appointment, which is very rare with doctors these days. Dr. Shareef takes time to answer questions that I may have, and makes me feel comfortable. I've never had an experience where I felt that she did not listen, or care about the issues I have visited her for. I can't imagine, nor do I plan on having another doctor. I would recommend Dr. Shareef to anyone looking for a professional, caring, respectful doctor.

This is the doctor I've looked for most of my life. Dr. Shareef radiates warmth and caring, and balances that with extreme thoroughness and professionalism.

Dr. Shareef was my mom's physician after a stay at LLU Hospital. Dr. Shareef is truly caring and one of the most informative physicians I have associated with. She was there for my mom every day and consistently cared and pushed forward with other meds when she didn't get the results she expected. I can't say enough about this woman. She is an exceptional Dr. If she accepted my insurance I would be here patient. Thank you Dr. Shareef for everything and all the care you provided my mother.

Dr. Shareef is the best doctor that I have ever seen. She is sincere, experienced, caring and thorough. I would not change doctors for anything!!
