The first time that I was referred to RVS, I was scared half to death! All of a sudden, I had like an "eyeball mini blind" had been pulled down over my right eye! I just knew I was going blind. But, IMMEDIATELY upon my arrival, I was made to feel safe and comfortable. Everything about RVS was about my feeling welcome. From checking in, to having a picture taken of my retina to explaining all that was happening. Dr. Choudhury took the time to walk me through step by step. And his staff-INCREDIBLE. Alyssa, Lillian, Justin work so well together. They make you laugh. Help you to feel like it isn't the end of the world. I can't say enough about them. My daughter who comes with me...equally impressed! Thanks to all of you at RVS! You're better than a POKE in the EYE! LOL Rachel

I am a 4-month post-op vitrectomy patient of Retina Vitreous Surgeons of Central NY. Dr Choudhury was my assigned surgeon; I was an emergency add-on to his day's schedule. He and his surgical RN and anaesthesiologist must have had a long day but were patient and comforting in answering all of my nervous questions. I found the entire office to be efficient and helpful. A very high quality team. Their website was also very helpful. I would suggest the website add some info about post-op positioning; I did find both the pre-op and office nurse to be very helpful in this regard. If I have any more vision emergencies (knock wood) this is the team for me.
