Dr. Talya Buchwal Leopold, MD

very unprofessional! makes patients wait an hour every visit, picks fights with young adults and then proceeds to trash talk patients to other staff members when patient is still within earshot!

She is overall great I have so many nice things to say. She started taking care of my daughter when I switched because our 1st pediatric dr couldn't remember she ordered tubes in a infant. But dr leopold did never had to remind her of anything. Riverbend lost a great pediatric dr I'm so sad

We have known Dr. Leopold for the last 20 years and she has been our daughter's doctor for all these years. We have never seen an excellent doctor like her. She is an amazing doctor, very caring, dedicated in her field, so conscious, understanding the list goes on We wish there are more doctors like her but we have never met anyone like her. We have lived in five different states in our life and saw so many doctors, but Dr. Leopold is not only like a doctor, she is like a family to us. We are so fortunate to have her in our lives.

Dr. Leopold is a great doctor. She was my doctor as a child and now she is the doctor to my children. You do have to wait a long time during you apointment to be seen, but you are NEVER rushed when she is in with you. She is very knowledgable and helpful! Wonderful bedside manner and very patient and caring.

I have been going to Dr leipold since the birth of my first son and things were tolerable until recently. she has become very harsh and rude to me as well as my children. I have finally decided enough is enough and I am switching pediatricians. I would not suggest her and I recommend others to switch if they do have her.

Dr. Leopold has her good days and bad with both mannerisms and accuracy of figuring out what's wrong with your child, in my opinion. She's told me (more than once) that I was wrong when I suggested my child be tested for a illness, only to find that I was right in insisting that she test when the test results came back. Don't bother asking her for a specialty referral for your child either. If it isn't her idea to refer your child to a specialist because she has test results that demand it,she makes you feel stupid for asking and gets angry with you if you push the issue. If you want a pediatrician who will really listen to you and let you be a part of the team in making decisions on taking care of your child, she is not it.
