Dr. Tamara S Pinkhasova, MD

She's fairly competent and perceptive and accommodating. But she speaks English poorly and lazily, and it's very hard to communicate with her, both speaking and listening. The wait times are appalling. Almost always 2 hours, even if you have an appointment. Best to book early, which is 10 to 11 AM. She's also interesting and horrific in that her first appointment is at 10 AM, but she NEVER shows up until 10:55 AM or so. I've tested her on this about four times. She does usually allow walk-ins before 3 PM, which is nice, but you have to wait 2 hours or so. NO IDEA why she treats patients this badly.

She used to be a good doctor. But she got so bad at refilling standard prescriptions--e.g., my blood pressure meds--that I switched doctors. She also has started engaging in some ethically dubious billing practices. For example, in my final visit I got a $120 bill for COVID supplies. Apparently she's billing patients this for each visit because it's a pandemic? Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Man if there was a zero option she truly deserves it she was like so quick with the visit didn’t want to learn anything about my history with my health not even five minutes in the office she always attended her other patients and still long with them and I had to wait in the room never follow through with bloodwork mammogram nothing I was always calling and she will never be there or she will help me keep calling and calling no communication as a doctor whatsoever don’t recommend her at all I need to find a way better doctor that actually cares

I went in to get a physical for my work. She made me feel at ease. Did everything quickly. She draws her own blood work which I liked. I had no issues with the registration or the visit. Will be back.

She is very accurate with my diagnosis I feel free to discuss anything with her. Her facility is very clean and nice

Tamara was agreeable. That's it. I came in for a follow up after having to go to the ER. I happen to have a lower voice for a woman, and she asks me "do you have a sore throat or hoarseness?" I was confused, since my voice was clear and I haven't coughed blood in days. I answered "No, why?" and she says "Well, you have a low voice for a woman". That's my voice. if an MD can't differentiate lower pitch from actual issues I don't trust her. Also, there was no follow through with blood tests for over two months and she filed the WRONG code to my insurance so they billed me 6X as much! DON'T GO TO HER!

Love this doctor! She is knowledgable, compassionate, humorous , and very friendly. I truly wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for her. She diagnosed me with an early stage of cancer which I was able to beat because it was so early on. God bless her!

Dr. Pinkhasova is the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever come across. I have been going to her for many years and no matter how overworked she is she always has a great smile and gives me her all. She is a great listener and always addresses my problem right away. There is a certain compassion she possesses that can not be matched. I wholeheartedly recommend this doctor. It is a bit difficult to get an appointment with her at the Manhattans physician group so I just schedule an appointment at her private office close by.

Dr. Pinkhasova ia the best. She really cares about her patkents and always goes the extra mile.
