Dr. Tamara Susan Smith, MD

Dr. Smith is a native of Virginia. She received a Bachelor of the Arts in Chemistry from the University of Virginia in 1993. She then attended the George Washington University in Washington, DC where she received a Masters of Public Health degree in 1996. She then moved to Richmond, Virginia where she attended Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and earned her M.D. She graduated a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University before moving to Morgantown, West Virginia to complete her residency at West Virginia University. She worked at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration in Clarksburg, WV before going back to West Virginia University to complete a combined pediatric and adult Allergy/Immunology fellowship. Her professional interests include pediatric and adult asthma, optimal allergen immunotherapy, allergic diseases of the skin, and …immunodeficiency. Dr. Smith and her family have recently settled in the Warrenton area and are looking forward to becoming a part of the community
