Had to wait 15 minutes because the person before me was late. Felt rushed in me answers. Never had time to give how PTSD affects my life on a daily basis. Mid way in the exam, she was texting on her phone. Broke my concentration. My exam was only 40 minutes. Her exam left me still at 30%.

Dr. Barber is a professional. She has the love and compassion for all people who are suffering and struggling with life through mental illness. She will help you if you allow her to. You have to be honest and open up to what your struggling with. Mental illness is real not a weakness and can't be seen by looking at a person without really knowing them. She helped save my life! She's not only my Dr but I consider her a friend also!! Thank you Dr Barber for being so helpful.

Does not have experience dealing with military veterans especially those having been in Iraq and Afghanistan & quickly renders an clinical assumption to the VA based on ONE visit that lasts less than 30 minutes with those suffering from true PTSD resulting in loss of benefits stating they "have improved". Maybe the therapist should consider multiple visits with our veterans before rendering a judgment because it takes time for anyone especially veterans to let their guard down to express their thoughts and fears especially those suffering from post traumatic stress and traumatic brain injuries.
