Dr. Tamieka Monique Lenye Howell, MD

She’s a terrible doctor !! She thinks she’s doing you a favor when it’s her job to serve you !! She has a sarcastic mouth and can be disrespectful if you allow her to but she will never ever handle me again that way !! Don’t be afraid to call her out on it because she should have character and have enough intelligence to know this !! Book smart not sure but common sense NONE !! Get you a Dr. that loves what they are doing and loves people !!

This woman is very disrespectful and unprofessional !! She had told me to take this certain BP medication but did inform me to take potassium so it wouldn’t mess with my heart !! She always act like she’s doing you a favor when she’s getting paid !! Girl really !! You don’t like your job find another profession !! I would NOT recommend her at all !! I told her to her face “do not disrespect me” at ALL !! She really had the wrong one periodttt!! Find a doctor that will listen to your concerns and respect you on all levels !! Leave this one alone !!

This lady is unprofessional, has very negative energy and appears to be miserable. I'll keep this as brief as possible. I will be sure to follow up with an official call to report her behavior. Just wanted potential pts to have a heads up. Saw Tamieka in 2018 and let me tell you I've attempted to forget about the experience but I'm seriously somewhat traumatized by the whole thing, cant seem to shake it. It was a physical appt yearly. I saw the assistant who takes vitals and asks those initial assessment questions. I told her I was concerned about feeling a bit down (winter months), a small lump on the side of buttock and maybe one other thing. She wrote it down then I could hear her in the hall warning the doctor if you will about my concerns. "I heard Tamieka in the hall responding, "no she needs to come back for all that" the assistant came back in the room and told me I could reschedule this appt for for a more lengthy one to address the concerns. I declined and in walks this… insensitive, bully. She gave no eye contact, was irritated and short. So I shut down immediately. We went through the motions but I still snuck in those initial concerns I had. I asked her about the lump etc. She gave me short answers and seemed annoyed. Well she was giving it to me so I started giving it back to her. I gave short answers no eye contact etc. She noticed my demeanor then started to lighten up displaying a softer voice etc. She never addressed my feelings of possible depression. She never addressed any other concerns unless I brought it to her attention. I was over all confused. Im From a different state and culture granted but I thought a yearly physical was when u could bring up these sort of concerns and possibly receive some feedback? Not be ignored. Again, I plan to go further with this. Someone higher up needs to go in as a pretend pt to see this Tamieka in action she's a piece of work and won't dissapoint. I've been to the doctor for different concerns and reasons. I've never left feeling like I felt when I left that exam room. Shame on Tamieka M Howell.

I went to my scheduled appointment and was told I was an hour late. I have had doctor appointments and was always early. I told the receptionist, I would reschedule, she said let me see if Dr Howell can work me in, I said ok, I didn't have to wait long. So when I got back to the room and she can in, I said, thank you for seeing me, she replied, you are someone else time. I felt 2 inches tall and from that point, she basically talked down to me. I am in my 60s, on a previous visit she told me I don't know the difference between a pap smear or pelvic exam, the point being was that I wanted to be examined to make sure I was ok, I could go on about her demeaner and that of the office. The p.a. should be the doctor

Outstanding initial visit from start to finish. I give 5-stars in ease of appointment; promptness; wait time; extremely courteous staff; superb bedside manner; accurate diagnosis; and time spent was excellent. Dr. Howell was very engaging, personable and interactive with us. She addressed all questions with ease. We did not feel rushed during the visit. Dr. Howell talked to you and not at you; her responses to our questions were clearly comprehensible for my child and I to understand. Without hesitation, I recommend Dr. Howell to others seeking compassionate medical care. The exam room was calming and not overpowering. The attending LPN and Receiptist were very professional and addressed our questions in an excellent manner. We departed smiling and knowing that Dr. Howell is genuine, family-oriented and committed to providing the best medical care she would expect if the roles were reversed. Thanks Dr. Howellð???

The staff is great. Everyone is so friendly and efficient. Dr Howell made me feel like she really cares about my health issues.
