Dr. Tamiko Virmil Jackson, MD

Dr. Tamiko Jackson-McArthur is unprofessional, unreliable, liar and a racist. She gives good doctors a bad rep as she doesn’t return urgent calls and your child ends up in the ER. She has her friends come on and write positive reviews that are untrue as she will do after this review. She has dropped the ball on so many children’s care even Yale Pediatric E.R. will state this to you when you say who your child’s pediatrician is..Shameful!!! She has lost so many patients due to her incompetency. Her office staff is just as bad do yourself a favor and do not allow her to treat your child. Once my child was transferred she lied to the new doctor and said my child was not up to date with their vaccinations and that was quickly discredited because my insurance company sent the checks that she cashed can you say She is a SCAM!!

Office staff is the worst!!!! Dr has a chip on her shoulder.

I have been seen by the Dr and her staff several times, each time was good, the Receptionist always says yes, and takes the initiative when faxing needed info, or gathering records, and is prepared with school physical forms, etc. The Dr was really nice as was the PA, Down to earth and knowledgeable.

Dr. Jackson takes excellent careof my baby. She listens and gives practical everyday realistic advice!! She doesnt judge me for my decisions. She respects me and my baby. Her staff is courteous and professional. Her offices are nice. I have been to all 3. I have no problem traveling for quality healthcare! SHE REALLY CARES!

Dr. Jackson is an excellent doctor! My daughter loves her and she is easy to talk to and very good with children!

Dr. Jackson has really grown as a doctor. She is not only anaccomplish docto, she is a business woman, and above all she is a mother now! She has decreased her work week to raise her children. She is excellent and has a staff of NURSE PRACTITIONERS, who are not nurses. They provide A-1 care to all patients. Sometines the wait is long because she is in such demand and she turns no one away who needs care. She does alot for the community also.

First i just want to say that i have never had a problem scheduling an appointment with Dr.Jackson. If anything she does everything possible to make herslef avalible during and after hours. when ever I had a problem with my child after hours I called the answering service and was promptly called back by Dr.Jackson. She is a very down to earth person with a kind and personable bed side manner. She makes children and parents feel cared for valued. The staff is wonderful and kind,I am rarely put on hold when I call and if I am it is never for long. I can't say enough about the wonderful care that my children recieve form this office and am grateful for doctors like Dr.Jackson.

Dr. Tameko Jackson is not even at the office but 2 days a week. If you need your child to be seen urgently, you have to be seen by a nurse. Also, the office staff is not professional or courteous. I'm switching pediatricians.

Tamiko Jackson is a good doctor. However, of late, she seems to be spreading herself too thin and she has lost that "personal bedside manner" that she once had. Now, Dr. Jackson's waiting rooms are packed and she's constantly running behind schedule. Dr. Jackson now has multiple offices but, that is not necessarily a "good" thing.
