Rude nurse practitioner and did not listen to my complaint very judgmental. VERY DIRTY office out dated equipment. Desk services was the only good experience here.

I had a patient who had fallen come up from the ER and Dr Beavers was there faster than I'd ever seen a doctor show up, under 5 minutes. She spent 10 minutes of her exam carefully palpating (feeling) every bone in her body while asking questions in the friendliest way and found 2 broken bones the ER missed. I followed her into the charting room and asked her to be my family doctor. I think she knew I was going to stand there until she said yes. In 6 months, she resolved everything my family needed that the on-base docs had been putting off for 5 years. Being ex-Air Force, she knows how Tricare works. Super knowledgeable and everyone in the family feels completely comfortable with her. It took me 17 years to find my ideal family doc. It was totally worth the wait.

Dr. Beavers and all the staff at James River Family ractice are caring and take the time to listen and go over options. I never feel hurried out the door with a prescription, I and my family are always treated extremely well.
