Dr. Tammy Lynn Birbeck, DO

So happy to have found this place and Dr. Birbeck and the entire staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The office feel is very calm and pleasant and the bedside manner was exceptional. She took the time to discuss and get to know and the entire staff the same. If only all physicians offices were like this.

I am from out of state and fell severely ill while traveling. Ended up in the hospital for a week and was not medically stable to travel back home for treatment by my normal physician. Dr. Birbeck made a special trip to the hospital DAILY to see me, gave me her cell number upon discharge and has jumped through many insurance hoops to be able to continue to provide me with the care I need until I am safe to travel back home. She and her staff are wonderful!! She answers all of my questions and I feel like she really cares about how I am doing and my recovery from a very scary critical illness. She is going above and beyond in caring for me, fully knowing when I am well enough to return home I will no longer be her patient!! She has made this so much easier on me and truly cares!! Highly recommend Dr. Birbeck!!!

I had a complete hysterectomy and Dr Birbeck and her staff where amazing. I needed a lot of extra during the surgery and the Dr went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. She also gave my mother her personal cell while she was on vacation to make sure I could reach her if I needed anything. My pain was minimal and I am healing quickly and effectively. I would recommend her highly!

waited for a hour for my appointment office manager and doctor came off very rude not to mention the office smelt like DOG and there was dog hair in my examination room just unacceptable i will never come back!

I was very nervous about an operation which consisted of a hysterectomy and a bladder lift. I found that she did not rush me and was very clear about my situation. The operation was long but had very little to no pain. Since it’s only been a week she continues to give her support. I recommend her highly

I had the same experience as another person who mentioned 45 minute wait past appointment time (this happened to me twice even after being told I would not have as long a wait the second time). Noreen in the front is wonderful, she is communicative and understanding when I told her my frustrations- the lack of professionalism and care comes directly from Dr. Birbeck. She chose not to bring her laptop (with my information on it) into the room as it was "too heavy" and wasted a lot of time reading off results from an ultrasound and an MRI on two separate occasions (that wouldn't make sense to someone who is not in the field) then proceeded to ask me if it made sense, it did not, obviously.

She was so Pleasent and helpful with any and all aspects of care for my wife before and after surgery. Always concerned about my wife and how she is. We would highly recommend her to anyone.

When I came to Florida for four months of warmth and sunshine, I never expected to be diagnosed with uterine cancer. I am very thankful to have found Dr. Birbeck in Englewood. From the first visit, through the surgery and the follow-up visits I was treated with respect, understanding and honesty. She was not only concerned about me but also about my husband’s feelings and concerns. Dr Birbeck’s staff is just like her——caring, friendly and knowledgeable.
