Tammy Harmon-Rodriguez

Tammy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Minor in Woman Studies from The University of Toledo and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Bowling Green State University. Tammy is a supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and holds a Social Worker license through the State of Ohio.

Ms. Harmon-Rodriguez obtained her Trauma-Focused CBT and Motivational training through the State of Ohio. She started her career as a Social Worker working with dually diagnosed adults, which inspired and sparked her interest in the specialization of dually diagnosed populations.

She has worked with a myriad of populations in her 19 years of practicing with her primary focus and passion for dually and co-occurring disorders. Moreover, cognitive behavioral therapy, gender/cultural informed care, solution-focused, and family systems.

While working as a clinical director at Serenity Haven from 2014-2016 she had the opportunity to work with dually diagnosed women in a …16-bed residential treatment facility. In this capacity, she successfully created an effective family therapy program and trauma informed weekly psycho-educational group. Tammy has served as a clinical supervisor since 2014.

Ms. Harmon-Rodriguez was a clinical coordinator/supervisor from 2016-2019, in Toledo, while maintaining a caseload specialization in adolescent, youth, and family systems. Tammy supervised the youth department’s clinicians and daily operations.

Her areas of focus include depression and anxiety-related disorders, specifically regarding self-harm and crisis. In addition, family systems, anger management, behavioral issues, and substance/mental health disorders. Tammy serves both as a clinical director and as a practicing supervising clinician. Ms. Harmon-Rodriguez continues to strive for client-centered and integrative clinical approaches to maintaining the highest quality of care.
