Dr. Tammy Carol Harris, MD

I have been going to see Tammy Harris for almost 20 years. She is an excellent doctor. She is very thorough. She takes the time to listen carefully to my symptoms and goes above and beyond to make sure that I am seen by specialists when necessary. I am not one to have many health issues. When I do she takes me very seriously. Not sure that she is taking new patients but if she is you would be lucky to get her.

Terrible experience, never go to her

I saw Dr. Tammy Harris once because I was experiencing bad chest pains and a sore throat to the point where it was painful to eat or drink and my normal doctor was unavailable. She didnt listen to me when I explained my symptoms, only focused on the chest pain but not in the area where I told her the pains were coming from. (she told me the pain was coming from near my breasts when I told her the center of my chest multiple times). Diagnosed me with costocondritis, and told me to "stretch and take advil". I asked her again before I left how this explains the sore throat and she said it doesnt but the advil should help that too and "as long as you can get fluids down im not too concerned about the eating part". Long story short I went straight to the hospital immediately after my doctors visit with her and they said I was having severe acid reflux, gave me a liquid medicine to numb the pain and diagnosed me with GERD. OH and for the icing on the cake... the emergency room doctor said… that advil would have been the worst thing I could have taken given that I having acid reflux...

Terrible doctor she does not listen to patients needs and complains. She miss diagnose me and kept me on the medication that I should never be on it in the first place. I'm done with her and the whole clinic.

Dr. harris was very helpful for me and she was mush more caring than other doctors i had seen for the same problem
