Dr. Tamra N Fortenberry

Been with Dr. Fortenberry since 2012. I never had anything inappropriate happened to me. She has always been nice and accommodating to my needs. She also delivered my son in 2013. Still a patient until now! :)

She has unprofessional, rude bedside attitude. She answers your questions with an annoyed tone. Her nursing staff are just as rude as she is. They don’t even check your vitals every appointment.

I have been going to her for years I have had 3 misscariges and each and every time she lends an ear and cosoles me I finally had a son and she delivered him she saved his life I will definitely go back to her yes u do wait but u have to wait every where and as for the negative comments is easier to blame other people I love her and Eliza and Dawn

I had a horrible experience with her. Her attitude is very nasty and she is rude and has a big ego. She don’t like to answer questions and she always cancel her appointments. Her nurse doesn’t return calls. This place will treat you like a number. I had a terrible experience with this OB. She is in and out the room in less than 5 mins. Find a different OB and don’t go to her.

If I could give her 0 stars I would. I had to switch doctors because mine retired and decided to give Dr.Fortenberry a try. She was AWFUL. I waited 45 minutes for someone to finally come in and then another 40 minutes for her to come in for 10 minutes and switch my birth control that I've been on for almost 3 years. She didn't explain anything to me and acted annoyed when I asked her questions. She didn't care at all and seemed like she was just snobby and rude. I guess her friends come on here and give good reviews because other places I've read she's HORRIBLE except for a few (very very few) good ones in the mix. Avoid her at all costs and find a doctor who respects your time and cares about your health.

Extremely rude, seemed really bothered by my LGBT status, acted like I was wasting her time after I'd waited for three hours for her to show up to my appointment ... I've had nothing but bad experiences with the clinic she works at, Matlock OB/GYN as well ... don't waste your time - find another doctor

I was a new patient and Dr. Fortenberry had me wait over a hour and 30min even though I came 45 min early before my scheduled appointment. My visit was a waste of time and effort and I ended up leaving due to the unacceptable wait. No patient should have to wait over a hour and 30 min to see their doctor. This was the worst first impression and I will not be back. I deserve a doctor who's more attentive and respectful of my time and energy.

Waited 3 hours for a 5 minute rough gynecological exam ... total waste of my time
