Dr. Tan Diem Pham, MD

I have had Dr. Pham for over 5 years and mainly due to laziness of looking for another MD. I am not a sick patient so I was basically seeing her for yearly checkups. I would ask her for certain labs to be drawn on me. Sometime she wouldn’t even send me for labs which is unheard of on a yearly physical. First off if an appointment is at 9 AM she’s usually running minimum 20 minutes late finally you get called into exam room and then sit in there for another 30 minutes until she finally comes in. She walks into the room with her handy computer and basically reads everything off the computer from the last visit. All she’s doing during the physical is confirming information that’s on her computer. Her attention to detail is great but her attention to the patient is poor. As far as prescriptions she is still doing at the old fashion way handing paper prescriptions making it very “out-of-the-way”for a patient to pick up meds. Rather than send script electronically. When I walk out of that… visit I feel like nothing was done. Other than confirming past medical history family history and any changes since. She is so focused on what’s written on her computer that she barely turns around and talks to you as a patient. Her medical assistant is also very rude when she makes phone calls to address a medication or question . I finally made the step and choosing another PCP who is more attentive and very accommodating and on time.
