Great doc. Friendly. Good bedside manners.

I have NEVER been so embarrassed for someone. NO PROFESSIONALISM. I used a teledoc for an infection I have and we BOTH know it’s viral so I ask if there is an antiviral I can take. She says “antivirals do not exist” which WE BOTH KNOW they do. So I tell her the rhetoric of that is a little misleading and can be interpreted as misinformation. This is when she shows her condescending nature. Literally back tracks and says she specifically meant my ailment. I ask multiple times if antiviral drugs are used anywhere and she still says no but it’s mainly to get me to shut up. This level of immaturity and egotistical nature is a HUGE problem in the scientific community. I’m not just google searching stuff, I have a few degrees in neuroscience (not a pHd just yet) and it’s substantial enough knowledge to ask for clarification. Honestly I’ve never met a ghetto doctor...but this was the most ghetto doctor I’ve ever talked to. If it matters to anyone reading this I’m ALSO African American. Never… felt so embarrassed for myself and another. Terrible “doctor” obviously not enough experience with good patient interaction, she also recites her information as if reading quickly off a panel instead of the natural knowledge made by experience of a more seasoned physician. Keep this one in the labs and AWAY from patients. Canceled my appointment and refused to give me a doctors note. Avoid Avoid AVOID

My experience with Dr. Maze was her being incredibly rude. Her tone was condescending. She scoffed and sighed often in response to anything I told her as her patient. After writing me a prescription, I complained about her entire demeanor to customer service, only to have that prescription REVOKED as punishment for speaking up. I wish I could give Zero stars... Basically an awful doctor that should not be practicing medicine of any kind.

I just had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Maze again. She is my go to doctor when my personal doctor is not available. Telemedicine allows you to select your doctor; I can select to make an appointment with her or other providers, but I always choose her. Each time, I update her on what is going on. Since this is a telemedicine visit, doctor's can not perform exams but she gives me a diagnosis and recommended treatment based on my symptoms. I try to leave a review after each visit with Dr. Maze. She is a good doctor and does a good job taking care of me, which is why I continue to return to her. 5/5 stars! Unlike the previous commenter, I don't get a coupon for the recommended medication(s) from any doctor, as that may be a conflict of interest to promote a particular retail chain. Doctor's can't tell you how much medications will cost as each retailer charges their own rates. It's like asking someone how much a bag of chips costs at a specific store. GoodRx is a free application… that is available to everyone without a cost. You can go there yourself and download what you need. It's not rocket science! In general, telemedicine visits are short, hence, the $35 fee. I would think if you have a complicated issue, this would not be the best forum for you. I have never had a problem with tone with this doctor nor have I felt rushed. I have seen her at least 3 to 4 times this year alone especially because of the coronavirus and my doctor's office is closed. She has always been friendly, listens to my concerns, empathetic, and kind. Maybe instead of berating this doctor as so many people have done when you don't get what you want that you introspectively review how you present yourself to others and have realistic goals given the limitations of telemedicine.

When she called me the first thing she said was how can I help you? So I proceeded to ask if she was able to see my description of the issues I was having. She then cut me off and said are you gonna tell me what’s wrong or not and if not I cannot help you. I kept my cool and proceeded with the call. During the call I felt very rushed, she was rude and condescending as well. I also asked her the price of the medications and for a goodRx for each one and she said we don’t do that here and I don’t know how much the medication cost. However the last doctor I spoke with a few weeks ago was awesome and she sent the discounts straight to my phone with no questions asked. Dr or DO Maze is a joke of a doctor and she does not have phone/bedside manner at all. I will NEVER accept an appointment from her again!

I just saw Dr. Maze. I paid $35to her via telemedicine. She was kind and listened to my concerns. She diagnosed me with a pharyngitis and gave me trial antibiotics. I'm really surprised by these comments here. We are in a pandemic and she is working to help alleviate your doctors offices and provide minor care for ailments you would probably wait an hour or two to be seen for by your Dr in a setting you don't want to be. She can't do a physical exam over the phone and the diagnosis is based on your comments. People need to get a life....

U of C Pritzker School of Medicine is an allopathic school, and their graduates are MDs. Why does she list herself as a DO? Why would a patient care that she is "quick"? Is that a real review?

Yeah she’s fast enough to prescribe medication to get to her next call.. I used drsays.com and was assigned to this Dr. Joke. Doesn’t care for patient. This lady got rude and sarcastic while I was asking for medical advice. After asking for what reason do I need antibiotics, she told me to go see a doctor in person. I got my money back and will NOT be asking for medical help from this unprofessional, money hungry, RUDE so called Dr.

I have seen Dr. Maze several times now. Each time, she hits the ball out of the park. Fast, friendly, efficient, correct diagnosis and treatment to get me back on my feet. Thank you Dr. Maze!!
